I’m closing into 30 years old, never been in a relationship in my life, whenever I try to approach someone they be surprised as if I don’t have the right to be attracted to anyone, it’s like I’m invisible. With all that being said I would say I have a very successful career, I graduated the top of my class, I was literally #1. I started working out and got buffed. It boosted my confidence, I like to think that I’m funny as I always make everyone laugh. I’m fairly confident. None of that changed anything, and I can imagine if I ever get in a relationship I would have to work 10 times harder to maintain it as opposed to tall guys that don’t have to put any effort. Don’t know what he did that for! I always see the shorter men bopping around when they get older and all the tall ones have to be on a walker or wheelchair🤷🏾♀️
Exactly, one of so many reasons not to cripple yourself with extreme height gains like this. I'm 6'2 naturally and I'm really lightweight, only 35 and have already been through several rounds of knee problems. Still pretty functional, but I KNOW for a fact someone a foot shorter than me will be able to function physically for many more decades than I will. Most people 7 ft and above are crippled by their 40s, 50 if they're lucky. Let's not even start on about back pain...I asked a lady I work for who's 87 years old if she ever has back pain. She said nope. She's 4 ft 11....I get back pain just bending over a few times since I was 17. Grass aint always greener guys and gals. And 6 ft 2 is only just the start of the tall range. Every inch gets worse.
I hope this guy fully recovers, but I seriously doubt he will. I don’t think people realize what he has done to himself, he literally crippled himself to get taller. I really hope I’m wrong about this for his sake but he’s probably going to have a rough time as he gets older. I think he might have a grace period for a few years while he’s still young, but in his 50’s and beyond he will start to have a lot of problems. Please people, don’t get this surgery if you feel bad about your height, it’s easier in the long run to be at peace with yourself than in pain. If you want to feel taller, don’t pay a bunch for a crippling surgery, just wear lifts with think soles shoes if it means that much to you.
So glad to see someone with an objective opinion reply here. We all wish him well but the reality is he's really done himself no favors with this barbaric leg mutilation. I expect he will have problems well before 50; I'd be surprised if he's ever going to walk even somewhat normally. If he does, certainly heavy quick footwork is completely out of the question. One thing he has going for him is he looks extremely lightweight; so he will fare much better than someone heavier. Anyway, all the best to him but please quit advertising this surgery to young adults that don't have maturity yet. Most of them will regret ever doing this to themselves it's no joke.
@@gj9157 it’s meant for limb deformities, ex. one leg or arm being shorter than the other, not for people with correct proportions who happen to be short. It’s also far from safe, infection, nerve damage, decreased mobility and weak bones are all common outcomes no matter who gets the surgery.

Wow. I didnt know height surgery was even possible....
I’m 5.7 but I live in the tallest country in the world, my height is below even women’s average here. I am old enough to come to terms with it. It’s just that I had very different expectations for my 20s now that they’re almost over and it’s just not fair and I hate that I can’t blame anyone, these are my cards and now I have to live alone for the rest of my life because of them.
