    Dewalt does have a rubber over mold for the battery, the impact wrenches have them

    Good video 👍 can you also review and test German Metabo impact wrenches/ drivers ? Interesting to see how those perform.

    The DeWALT definitely won in the power department but the Metabo looked smoother in the cases where the DeWALT didn't blow it away

    12 volt tools ain't about power and speed it's about the chock the trigger how long the battery last guess it needs some power and how nice it feels in your hand

    I just recently picked up my first DeWalt tool, the 12v hammer drill with a 3amp battery for 49$. Couldn't pass it up. It's a phenomenal tool and is really powerful for it's size and weight

    I have the european version of that Dewalt and the chuck comes in steel here. I fricking love this tool, With the small battery, it's actually so small it can make use of the clip. Amazing to use with installing. One tool hanging on the clip and the other in the hand. If i only could score the 901 for a decent price and i would be in heaven.

      I have the brushless Bosch Flexiclick, which I got because I liked the most overall, especially design/ergonomics. For some reason the manufacturers are not great at distinguishing the generations and brushed vs brushless model transitions. The metabo website wasn't even that helpful for finding this out. I wanted the Milwaukee one at first, but hated the grip and didn't care for the knuckle guard design. These multi head tools are very handy for small varied projects though and they are all pretty decent

    DeWalt has the new multihead DCD 703.
    And there are two 5Ah models, one with rubber overmold, but even heavyer. Not using 4Ah 21700 cells like Hilti and metabo is absurdly stupid. I don't like the Hilti SFE for 3 reasons: 1. It has metal shroud chuck, bad for 5 reasons - damages furniture and stuff, chuck black wears off and look hideous, is heavyer and front heavy on tool, past bad experience with metal shrouded chucks that are expensive but less reliable then heavy duty ones with plastic. SF 2-A12 has a nicer chuck with plastic, don't know how reliable, Hilti chucks are not the best... 2. The angled head is bulky on the side that maters, so can't be used as an excentri-chuck, then excentrichuck is stupid long and using them both wey to long. 3. With no head look very bulky, not esteticaly pleasing and also shadowing/ blocking the work line of sight. SF 2-A12 looks nicer but both have a not enough angled handle, and both enter in protection mode and stop faster then is needed to realy use the provided torque, so in use we don't see the spect 21 Nm soft torque in speed one, stoping before a 15 Nm soft torque brushed Bosch GSR 12V-15 FC or not FC.

    So the Metabo is a multi head tool and the Dewalt is just a drill/driver? So not so equal test.

    • @l00nybin
      @l00nybin 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The DeWalt DCD703 is DeWalt's multi-head tool (like the Metabo and Hilti), and it has the same power as this DCD701, both rated at 250 UWO. They perform the same. The -703 even beat my M12 Fuel hammer drill in power and speed driving a 1" Irwin Speedbor.

    Сравни DeWALT DCD701 с Milwaukee M12 👍👍👍

    • @l00nybin
      @l00nybin 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The DeWalt beats the M12 Fuel hammer drill/driver. I had both the DCD703 multi-head tool and the M12 Fuel. The -703 has the same power rating by DeWalt as this -701, and it handily beat the Fuel. I sold my M12 drill after that, and with the -703 with the drill attachment having the same specs as the -701, I'm not sure I need to get the -701.
