I went on that ferry and it was bloody freezing, I did like Bohol though and I agree the tricycles are fun. The best thing about the Philippines(beside the beautiful beaches etc) in my opinion is the people, they are always happy, smiling and friendly. Even if they don't have a lot of money they are grateful just to have their family and be alive and always willing to help.

Indeed, it feels like the entire country is one whole big family. People are nice and kind always ready to help and smile. They are joyful and seem contented.

From Cebu we went to Tagbilaran (Bohol) to go on a river cruise with a lunch buffet, see tarsiers and Chocolate Hills, the ferry ride was nice, it has ac and they showed a movie.
@@markledesma2396 yes Bohol is nice but the ac on the ferry is set very low so really cold if you’re wearing shorts🥶

The CAB issue has been on going problem. This issue was raised to the government so many times. The only way to really address it is for tourist/visitors not to use a CAB that is not using the meter. Get out of the cab that is not using the meter and reward the honest cab drivers.

Bohol ferry terminal is Very organized and clean too..
tricycles in visayas are spacious. here in manila, tricycles are small and narrow

Good job travis For not letting those colorum(illegal taxis) exploit money from you...sad to say that's so rampant in major cities except baguio city, while we understand that they just want to earn for a living but they should not take advantage of their passengers especially those people who are not familiar with the place...
They're tricycles. Baguio City don't have tricycles as the roads are mostly uphill, but I do agree with you, taxi drivers in Baguio City are honest and they really give you your change.

Amazing trip!!! I might try to take the ferry between the two island the next time I visit the philippines. I've been to Cebu only 2 times and I always stay at Red Planet. Yes, it is very basic but 99% of the time, I am out and about wondering around. The best part about this hotel, it's literally next to a mall.

Hello Travis. You might also be able to witness Catholic traditions in communities tomorrow before 3pm because it is Good Friday. From then on, shops are generally closed till Easter Sunday so best prepare your food supplies. Of course, the beaches would be filled with families. Enjoy enjoy ☺️
