I disliked the Kia logo so much that I put the luxury KLexus badge overlays on my new Telluride as soon as I got it. They keep the car snobs guessing! They are readily available on Amazon eBay or some dealerships. They should be standard on all Tellurides

Hope your able to get one for msrp or less. Kia is very proud of the Telluride. That is the reason we ended up with the Hyundai Palisade. They are both built on the same platform and share the same powertrains. The Telluride might look slightly better exterior wise, but I actually like the inside of the Palisade better personally. The difference in our case however, is that Hyundai was willing to cut us a deal on the Palisade and Kia had the Telluride marked 3K over msrp. No Nightfall package available on the Palisade though. You can't go wrong with either. Goodluck
@@wbwayne8887 I looked at the Telluride SX prestige nightfall edition a few months ago, but the markup was insane at a little over $19k over MSRP. I ended up buying the Palisade Calligraphy since they didn't have a markup on the price and I also liked the interior better.
I've had mine for about two weeks now and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous car, incredible ride and better than average gas economy for the class. One word of warning for those that spend the extra 1300 for the Nightfall/Nightsky (Canada) edition, DO NOT option in running boards. It's ridiculous to spend 1300 bucks to eliminate all the chrome and then have them slap on CHROME side running boards. That's right, there is NO Nightfall version of the running boards so they'll be happy to sell you them, but don't expect them to match your car. I made that mistake, and had to have them removed. Fortunately, my dealer didn't quibble about refunding the $690 (plus tax) cost of that upgrade.
how are you still liking the Telluride? I am from New Brunswick, Canada and am waiting for the 2023 model to come out before I purchase a new midsize SUV for my family. With a new baby and out of control fuel costs, a lifted Tacoma just isn't cutting it anymore as my daily driver and I am leaning towards the Telluride but will be test driving just about everything in the class when it comes time to buy.
Add the driver's side exhaust and black them out, that's about all I would change. I've seen all your Telluride videos and I can't stop thinking about how Kia thought of (mostly) everything and did so at a collective level where it is useful and looks great. 50K is quite a bit of money, but at least the features seem to justify the cost unlike other vehicles.

Today we got our telluride. Same packages and color. We really like the Tellie, but I said goodbye to my 2006 Audi A3. I really love that car. I still remember when I drove it out of the dealership in 2006.
Love your reviews. Definitely want to get my hands on one of these. Analog gauges don't bother me cause if your screen messes up, you still have the needed info.
50 G for a Kia? I don’t know. Those tires definitely need a little more beef. I was looking at one on the road the other day driving behind it. Sideview the car looks awesome! But from the rear pretty weak. Lot of plastic in and on that thing. As I was driving next to it hitting stoplights. It seemed like that back and was completely dropping on acceleration taking off from a stop.. Is that normal? Good review. You’re good at what you do.
All I can say is you need to see one in person and get behind the wheel. I don't know what the Telluride you saw in person had inside to make the rear end squat.
Joel Hagen you’re right Joe - the suspension is too soft. The Pallisade and the Telluride have that sag under acceleration. I would add stiffer suspension and more offroad styled tires 😎 -
I can only imagine what a white one of these would look like with the nightfall package.... probably would look like a stormtrooper car. Every dealership Ive seen that has these mark up the price by no less than 5k over sticker. I’ve even seen an SX without the nightfall package listed at 65K once 😳 the hype is real and I can understand. This thing is sexy
Great SUV. Came a long way. Close to beat Japanese cars and next Germans in the line. I drove Kia Optima and now I am driving Kia Sortage and next would go for Telluride. Go Kia Go.
I've never wanted, much less even considered a Kia before this. Now I'm drooling over the Nightfall Telluride - talk about value for the money. Maybe one day I'll have one as a partner for my 2020 Mustang GT Premium to use in the winter!
We bought a 2020 EX in Sangria paint with light grey leather for my wife in February (from Lokey) and we love it. This one is exactly how I wanted it inside and out, but it’s hers so she gets to pick the color (happy wife, happy life! 😎). We get 22 MPG around town, easily beating the EPA estimate. It is VERY comfortable and quiet, and is a fantastic road trip car for four with luggage, cooler, etc. It really is impressive, considering we chose this over other great vehicles such as the Honda Passport and Pilot, Toyota Highlander, and Ford Explorer. It is easily Kia’s most impressive model, and it’s nice to see their attention to detail and design is starting to trickle down to their other cars. Love this channel Joe, keep up the good work. 👍

Love the look of the Telluride. But ~20 mpg? In 2021? Come on! KIA missed the boat by literally doing nothing with fuel economy. With electrification on the way, why not kick out a hybrid option or put an engine and transmission combo that attains >30 mpg? I like the vehicle, but I’m not going backwards on fuel economy. Our Ford Explorer from 2012 has three row seating and gets >20 mpg!

Telluride is a luxury flagship. Dealers are getting BMW Cadillac Mercedes and Lexus trade ins on new Tellurides. I was a former Audi owner and I prefer Telluride. This is not just a family hauler for soccer moms, It’s like a luxury limo with suv capabilities.
TEAM TELLURIDE!!!! It's just like you said, "don't even want an SUV but the Telluride makes me want an SUV" lol Upgraded trim idea: Another 60 hp (maybe the Stinger set up?), big brake calipers, digital dash, frameless rear view mirror, dual exhaust and updated badges.
This SUV grows on me every time I see a new review. I still don’t regret getting a pre-owned Q7 over this, as this can’t touch the Q7’s acceleration and handling with the 285 tires, but if I found this exact color/trim on a lot back in Feb I would’ve probably bought it.
@@joshua9073 I agree you can’t beat Kia and Hyundai’s warranties. I negotiated an extended warranty with the dealer for an additional 6 years. Factory expires in March. Only have 14k miles on it, so I should be ok for a while.

Toyota owner here... Never in a million years, I thought I would buy a kia vehicle. There smart design, interior, warranty and over all package is simply wow... Man they are building winning vehicles right now for an execllent price!! Kia has been killing it.. From their UVO system which give full control of your vehicle via an app to set vehicle temperature, remote start, unlock doors, find vehicle, track maintenance,summon road side assistance, warranty information and tons of many features...
Have you ever considered doing some evening/night videos of the vehicles. All vehicles at night have a totally different look on the interior and exterior as I’m sure your well aware of but some of these Infotainment screens switch to night mode and the business end behind the wheel that screen looks different as well. Would be cool to see some of these vehicles headlights and interiors at night. Just a thought. This one in particular I bet looks sick at night.

Bought my wife a 2020 Telluride EX...she got t-boned with our two kids in the car and flipped twice...not a scratch on any of them. We bought a 2021 SX Prestige Package to replace it. The safety aspect alone was enough to re-buy

I prefer the manual steering column adjust. I have a Lexus SUV with electric column adjust. When they break, and they do, it's expensive to fix.

How much warranty do you have left? That part would be scary to me. Kias long warranty is hard to beat.

Toyota owner here... Never in a million years, I thought I would buy a kia vehicle. There smart design, interior, warranty and over all package is simply wow... Man they are building winning vehicles right now for an execllent price!!
Kia has been killing it.. From their UVO system which give full control of your vehicle via an app to set vehicle temperature, remote start, unlock doors, find vehicle, track maintenance,summon road side assistance, warranty information and tons of many features...

Have you ever considered doing some evening/night videos of the vehicles. All vehicles at night have a totally different look on the interior and exterior as I’m sure your well aware of but some of these Infotainment screens switch to night mode and the business end behind the wheel that screen looks different as well. Would be cool to see some of these vehicles headlights and interiors at night. Just a thought. This one in particular I bet looks sick at night.

What color was the leather in that? Butterscotch, Dune Nappa, or Espresso Brown. It was hard to tell, in the sun it looked like Butterscotch, but in the shade maybe one of the other 2. Thanks Joe

Bought my wife a 2020 Telluride EX...she got t-boned with our two kids in the car and flipped twice...not a scratch on any of them. We bought a 2021 SX Prestige Package to replace it. The safety aspect alone was enough to re-buy
