Kia needs to black out all of their badges like this. Makes the car badge look 100x better.

I disliked the Kia logo so much that I put the luxury KLexus badge overlays on my new Telluride as soon as I got it. They keep the car snobs guessing! They are readily available on Amazon eBay or some dealerships. They should be standard on all Tellurides
derek flint do the silver accents on the console reflect the sun when your driving? So curious about this... my Acadia is awful with glaring!
derek flint thank you!!! Yeah I’m only 5’7 but my husband is 6’4... in my car they are chrome and very reflective. Ok... I’ll keep looking for one to test drive, lol! Good to know you fit in the vehicle. I know that’s challenging!

@Joseph Payton You mean the ratings that KIA bought? I rely on true car owners complaints which anyone can find on the U.S. Dept of Transportation NHTSA. You'd be lucky to find a 1 star rating there.

Hope your able to get one for msrp or less. Kia is very proud of the Telluride. That is the reason we ended up with the Hyundai Palisade. They are both built on the same platform and share the same powertrains. The Telluride might look slightly better exterior wise, but I actually like the inside of the Palisade better personally. The difference in our case however, is that Hyundai was willing to cut us a deal on the Palisade and Kia had the Telluride marked 3K over msrp. No Nightfall package available on the Palisade though. You can't go wrong with either. Goodluck

@@wbwayne8887 I looked at the Telluride SX prestige nightfall edition a few months ago, but the markup was insane at a little over $19k over MSRP. I ended up buying the Palisade Calligraphy since they didn't have a markup on the price and I also liked the interior better.

Beautiful SUV, I really like the Palisade Calligraphy edition. Very nice choice. $19 K above msrp on the Telluride is pure thievery.

Huyndai anytime inside out way nicer for me reliability I think they are both good and warranty both same power train very similar but interior exterior technology I like Huyndai more even though technology is similar just looks better on Huyndai with the interior I just wonder sometimes which one is more reliable Huyndai or Kia even though they share similar designs and power train
I've had mine for about two weeks now and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous car, incredible ride and better than average gas economy for the class. One word of warning for those that spend the extra 1300 for the Nightfall/Nightsky (Canada) edition, DO NOT option in running boards. It's ridiculous to spend 1300 bucks to eliminate all the chrome and then have them slap on CHROME side running boards. That's right, there is NO Nightfall version of the running boards so they'll be happy to sell you them, but don't expect them to match your car. I made that mistake, and had to have them removed. Fortunately, my dealer didn't quibble about refunding the $690 (plus tax) cost of that upgrade.

how are you still liking the Telluride? I am from New Brunswick, Canada and am waiting for the 2023 model to come out before I purchase a new midsize SUV for my family. With a new baby and out of control fuel costs, a lifted Tacoma just isn't cutting it anymore as my daily driver and I am leaning towards the Telluride but will be test driving just about everything in the class when it comes time to buy.
The exhaust on only 1 side kills the look of the rear. Kia dropped the ball in that area.

These are beautiful. They drive so smooth and are visually appealing. I work with Kia and Hyundai’s and they are stepping up their game.
Add the driver's side exhaust and black them out, that's about all I would change.
I've seen all your Telluride videos and I can't stop thinking about how Kia thought of (mostly) everything and did so at a collective level where it is useful and looks great. 50K is quite a bit of money, but at least the features seem to justify the cost unlike other vehicles.

Kia Telluride, or any Kia for that matter, does not use 8-speed transmission made by ZF. It is Hyundai in-house developed and produced transmission.

Great SUV. Came a long way. Close to beat Japanese cars and next Germans in the line. I drove Kia Optima and now I am driving Kia Sortage and next would go for Telluride. Go Kia Go.

I prefer the manual steering column adjust. I have a Lexus SUV with electric column adjust. When they break, and they do, it's expensive to fix.

I can only imagine what a white one of these would look like with the nightfall package.... probably would look like a stormtrooper car. Every dealership Ive seen that has these mark up the price by no less than 5k over sticker. I’ve even seen an SX without the nightfall package listed at 65K once 😳 the hype is real and I can understand. This thing is sexy

Dope review...dual exhaust would’ve been an amazing addition...50K for Kia 10 yrs ago seems steep, but they’ve come a long way plus they have that awesome warranty. I would def push this and not be ashamed it’s a Kia anymore.

I JUST bought a 2020 S model..my friends are going apeshit over it I love it..I kinda wish the ride quality was soft it kinda rides like a truck but other than that it's perfect lots of room. Leather sunroof keyless entry

50 G for a Kia? I don’t know. Those tires definitely need a little more beef. I was looking at one on the road the other day driving behind it. Sideview the car looks awesome! But from the rear pretty weak. Lot of plastic in and on that thing. As I was driving next to it hitting stoplights. It seemed like that back and was completely dropping on acceleration taking off from a stop.. Is that normal? Good review. You’re good at what you do.
All I can say is you need to see one in person and get behind the wheel. I don't know what the Telluride you saw in person had inside to make the rear end squat.

Joel Hagen you’re right Joe - the suspension is too soft. The Pallisade and the Telluride have that sag under acceleration. I would add stiffer suspension and more offroad styled tires 😎 -

Clean looking car , not paying 50,000 for a Kia though
I absolutely love our Palisade. No problems in 12K miles so far and even averaging 23mpg. Can get 32mpg on the highway. Unless I drive like Joe. I like the interior better in the Palisade and have really come to like the push button transmission as well, despite the critique from the naysayers. You also get paddle shifters on the Palisade as well. I also like the 3 spoke steering wheel on the Palisade better. Imo, the Telluride steering wheel is kind of an ugly design.
That said though, I also saw the Telluride Nightfall about a month ago. It truly looks amazing, especially that Kia badge and the black chrome. I actually like the white LED drls better than the amber though. Interior packaging is outstanding in both of them, and despite the very reasonable size, the room for passengers and cargo, especially with the 3rd row folded is just about perfect.

KIA Killing It Again
Looks amazing but totally worthless as an AWD or 4x4. This doesn't even have 4 low gearing...or downhill decent assist so you are dead coming down a steep hill on ice and snow... so don't think about driving this to ski resort in a real storm. Believe me I live on a mountain peak and 4 low has saved my life endless times. At least the palisade, pathfinder, forerunner, Taureg, etc. have either low gearing or downhill decent assist control. But most people see AWD and think they are good to go... but they are clueless. This is a beautiful vehicle though if you are just looking for a city street SUV that looks cool and runs well...
