Her whole existence was depressing anyway, she was a small flower in a prison cell. Which is one of the worst places to be period, it's hellish and everyone is fighting for constant survival. The fact she was born there is sort of tragic considering how good spirited she was. She probably was going to eventually die by some disgusting rat eating it or some guard plucking it to lower a inmates moral. She honestly died a peaceful death considering her other possible ways of dying, she died trying to save a friend and save one of the only people to recognize or care for her existence. It still is tragic she pushed herself too far but it probably saved guts in the end.

Honestly, I love the part in the manga where Guts, Rodrick and Sirpico all have a drink while waiting for Casca and the others. For me it really showed just how close guts has gotten to his comrades and how much he's grown. I've always kinda liked how the story took a bit of a lighter tone later on as a natural progression because it felt earned. The group went through hell and back on multiple occasions, so they definitely earned this break.

I remember when part 1 came out. I was working by myself in the frozen department. Cleaning shelves from a broken freezer in the back room. So I prop my phone on the desk. And watch the video like a 1950s housewife doing the ironing.
I remember when part one came out, i was at my parents house in NC. Me and my mom were sitting on the couch when it was released. She asked what Berserk was, so I spent about an hour telling her about Golden Age. Some day I’ll get her and my stepdad to watch the movies at least.
I remember when I watched part 1 for the first time. A little less than a year ago, I finally finished the 97’ anime, and wanted to dive back in and “read” the parts that I missed. I worked the night shift at the time and was definitely depressed. Coming home in the morning to watch these videos and escape before falling asleep was a great feeling. Berserk quickly became one of my favorite stories of all time, and I got to experience it thanks to this channel.
Between the obvious inspiration from Lovecraft and how the Sea God is the biggest monster Guts has fought yet in terms of size and scope, it was a fun arc.
Mori’s doing an incredible job continuing Miura’s legacy so far. Art is still incredibly detailed and the story feels natural. I absolutely love how Guts’ panic is shown in that panel of the second chapter when he starts slicing at the air
I'm kinda happy Miura did want his best friend to continue it just due to his story not being finished but he obviously he did have an idea of what he wanted to continue. Hell in one of his interviews he promised us that Guts would have a happy ending
After everything in berserk, the elf coup d’tat makes me feel nice. People having the worst things imaginable done to them. Only to get to the end of characters journey to find out the only punishment is doing some basic house chores for the day. Miura really grew up and learned to love humanity and life, didnt he? Like the tropes of young jaded men finally reaching the later stages of life and finally learning to appreciate things.
Congratulations. All your work has paid off. You have made what will no doubt be the most comprehensive berserk adaptation ever. You essentially turned it into an audio book with some added discussion. You should really take some time to be proud of yourself. We're all proud of you. We've all seen your heart and soul in this series.
Guts pulling a bunch of condoms after Danann, Farnese and Schierke healed Casca's mind: "I'm young again and I want to live!" Guts burning the condoms after Casca gets Eclipse flashbacks everytime she looks at him: "WHY DOES THIS KEEPS HAPPENING TO ME???"
Casca's inner dreams sequence made me cry. Miura did a wonderful job at depicting the shattered psyche with the doll. When F&S opened rhe coffin I was working a overnight shift at rhe time of reading and I covered my mouth like I had discovered something horrific. Made me sob for a minute my heart broke
That part was unbelievably sad... I somehow didnt cry during the eclipse, but seeing the true extent of Casca's trauma, as well as seeing all of the Golden Age from Casca's perspective, and how painful her whole life has been, made me lose it entirely.

Even though i will never really recover from Miura death, i'm actually grateful we had the chance to witness the panel of Casca's crying remembering Guts at 3:02:36. This was such an emotional hit.
Truly a David and Goliath like tale. Berserk a story with so much infinite darkness and pure depression is somehow one of the most inspiring stories ever written that show no matter what to never stop fighting against all odds. Thank You Miura and Thank You Loli for the analysis of his work.

I legit teared up at Casca's return and then shed those tears when she lost it at seeing Guts. That shit hit me in the soul. I for one am looking forward to the new chapters and have faith that Mori and company will do a good job. Can't wait to read them and then get your next video whenever the Fantasia Arc is finished. ive seen so many people hating the new art for no reason and totally overreacting over the return of Berserk under Mori. Some people are just so pessimistic and hateful about this its downright disgusting. Like maybe give them a chance and wait and see? If its bad you can blame them but if it turns out to be good why not admit it and let them have credit?
@@hartajsingh9194 Yeah I don't see the art being worse, it looks the same as Miura's art after going fully digital. Complaining about the digital style not being as good as one thing, but it honestly looks the same as it's been for a little while now. I haven't read the newest chapter but I don't feel like we've got anything yet that tries to capture the real serious Miura spreads. Ya know the huge 2 page spreads that have every inch packed with detail. For now I'll withhold judgement until we get one of those from the current artists. And even then, I'll still probably be satisfied with it. It isn't Miura, but it's all we can get. Berserk is to good and means to much to me to not want to see it finished.

The only issues I found was the first page with Ishidro he had wrong looking eyes, and for some reason Serpico's hair looked wrong. That's it. Everything else felt like Miuras Art.
I see the flashback of Skull Knight’s memories, and I continue to believe that Skull Knight is likely the biggest badass in fictional history, up there with Dante and all other sorts of legends. And yet that dude’s character is also incredible and layered. Holy fuck, I never knew Berserk was such a masterpiece until this video series.
Wanna say that the story with Chitch, the flower spirit felt very typical of a European fairy tale. Short and on point with a open dilemma as the point of the story. The story about the half-elf in Lost Children felt more like a modern retelling of a fairy tale; where as Chitch felt like it could've fetched directly from a periodic story and just told word for word with some elements shifted to fit the scene.

Man, I still remember the day I found out Casca was unpotatoed. My friends and I were waiting in front of our high school’s library before 1st period where of all places, ifunny, showed us Casca’s smile. Needless to say, we all freaked out. I love Fantasia, and while I understand why people don’t like the Elfhelm segments, I personally adore them. I loved getting to see these characters finally get a break from all the evil in the world and just take in the beauty and peace this paradise has to offer. I can’t wait for the continuation of this story, I have complete faith that Mori will give the story the ending it needed, even if it isn’t the one people were hoping for.
The chirch part always makes me cry. This now completely destroys my armor because now I am in a bad place and I am trying to deal with the anguish I feel, in any case well done Loli you have waited until the end to deliberate a great emotional blow hats off

Beast in Black will always be a head canon ost for me whenever I read Berserk; I just play that beautiful noise on full blast whenever Guts fights or when I workout.
I think dog guts is quite interesting since it's hard to tell what breed he is Doberman a gaurd dog , a Xoloizcuintili a beast known to guide souls to the underworld but for me he looks like a great dane and the behavior of great Danes are known to be best-natured dogs around. They're gentle, sweet, affectionate pets who love to play and are relaxed with children. They have a great desire to please, which makes them easy to train. The Great Dane wants to be where the family is and if some of that shit don't sound like our sad tired swordsman I don't know what is especially the need to be where family is. I had a feeling and I think this video proved it right. Guts' journey is about defying fate and the eldritch forces that have enslaved all life. Don't be surprised if Guts does get some kind of happy ending, with Casca and the rest. Fate is caused by our choices, and if enough right/good choices are made fate can be altered. I see what you were doing Miura. Well played.

Ive been a fan of Berserk since I was a child and seeing casca regain her sanity made me cry more then I have in my entire life. This series brought me so much sorrow, pain, and grief but at the same time brought me joy, love, and bittersweet happiness. Thank you Miura, we will never forget you.

I remember when part 1 came out. I was working by myself in the frozen department. Cleaning shelves from a broken freezer in the back room. So I prop my phone on the desk. And watch the video like a 1950s housewife doing the ironing.
I remember when part one came out, i was at my parents house in NC. Me and my mom were sitting on the couch when it was released. She asked what Berserk was, so I spent about an hour telling her about Golden Age. Some day I’ll get her and my stepdad to watch the movies at least.
I remember when I watched part 1 for the first time. A little less than a year ago, I finally finished the 97’ anime, and wanted to dive back in and “read” the parts that I missed. I worked the night shift at the time and was definitely depressed. Coming home in the morning to watch these videos and escape before falling asleep was a great feeling. Berserk quickly became one of my favorite stories of all time, and I got to experience it thanks to this channel.
I remember when part 1 came out and I watched it. It was about a year ago.
The Berserker Armor: So powerful and scary even Eldritch Horrors piss themselves at the sight of it when unleashed.

Between the obvious inspiration from Lovecraft and how the Sea God is the biggest monster Guts has fought yet in terms of size and scope, it was a fun arc.
Yeah, if the boat arc hadn't taken so many IRL years, I think people would be much more positive about it.
Mori’s doing an incredible job continuing Miura’s legacy so far. Art is still incredibly detailed and the story feels natural. I absolutely love how Guts’ panic is shown in that panel of the second chapter when he starts slicing at the air
I'm kinda happy Miura did want his best friend to continue it just due to his story not being finished but he obviously he did have an idea of what he wanted to continue. Hell in one of his interviews he promised us that Guts would have a happy ending

After everything in berserk, the elf coup d’tat makes me feel nice. People having the worst things imaginable done to them. Only to get to the end of characters journey to find out the only punishment is doing some basic house chores for the day.
Miura really grew up and learned to love humanity and life, didnt he? Like the tropes of young jaded men finally reaching the later stages of life and finally learning to appreciate things.
Congratulations. All your work has paid off. You have made what will no doubt be the most comprehensive berserk adaptation ever. You essentially turned it into an audio book with some added discussion. You should really take some time to be proud of yourself. We're all proud of you. We've all seen your heart and soul in this series.
Facts
Casca coming back in a full dress got me tearing up...
until she starts remembering the eclipse
Guts pulling a bunch of condoms after Danann, Farnese and Schierke healed Casca's mind: "I'm young again and I want to live!"
Guts burning the condoms after Casca gets Eclipse flashbacks everytime she looks at him: "WHY DOES THIS KEEPS HAPPENING TO ME???"
Casca's inner dreams sequence made me cry. Miura did a wonderful job at depicting the shattered psyche with the doll. When F&S opened rhe coffin I was working a overnight shift at rhe time of reading and I covered my mouth like I had discovered something horrific. Made me sob for a minute my heart broke
That part was unbelievably sad...
I somehow didnt cry during the eclipse, but seeing the true extent of Casca's trauma, as well as seeing all of the Golden Age from Casca's perspective, and how painful her whole life has been, made me lose it entirely.
You people must've had easy lives. I'm numb to the pain they go through. Abuse and trauma can do that.

I say it a lot and I mean it everytime: Your work on this series is one of the most noble and faithful tributes to Miura and Berserk as a whole! The sheer amount of effort and passionn it must take to make these is unimaginable. Great work as always and I'm looking forward to part 6!!

Even though i will never really recover from Miura death, i'm actually grateful we had the chance to witness the panel of Casca's crying remembering Guts at 3:02:36. This was such an emotional hit.
Truly a David and Goliath like tale. Berserk a story with so much infinite darkness and pure depression is somehow one of the most inspiring stories ever written that show no matter what to never stop fighting against all odds. Thank You Miura and Thank You Loli for the analysis of his work.
My favorite part is when Guts looked at the audience and spoke "it's berserkin' time."

I legit teared up at Casca's return and then shed those tears when she lost it at seeing Guts. That shit hit me in the soul. I for one am looking forward to the new chapters and have faith that Mori and company will do a good job. Can't wait to read them and then get your next video whenever the Fantasia Arc is finished. ive seen so many people hating the new art for no reason and totally overreacting over the return of Berserk under Mori. Some people are just so pessimistic and hateful about this its downright disgusting. Like maybe give them a chance and wait and see? If its bad you can blame them but if it turns out to be good why not admit it and let them have credit?
@@hartajsingh9194 Yeah I don't see the art being worse, it looks the same as Miura's art after going fully digital. Complaining about the digital style not being as good as one thing, but it honestly looks the same as it's been for a little while now. I haven't read the newest chapter but I don't feel like we've got anything yet that tries to capture the real serious Miura spreads. Ya know the huge 2 page spreads that have every inch packed with detail. For now I'll withhold judgement until we get one of those from the current artists. And even then, I'll still probably be satisfied with it. It isn't Miura, but it's all we can get. Berserk is to good and means to much to me to not want to see it finished.

@@hartajsingh9194 Ok I just read the newest chapter and people complaining about it not being the same as Miura's style are retarded. This is the most Miura looking the art has been in awhile. The only issues I found was the first page with Ishidro he had wrong looking eyes, and for some reason Serpico's hair looked wrong. That's it. Everything else felt like Miuras Art.
I see the flashback of Skull Knight’s memories, and I continue to believe that Skull Knight is likely the biggest badass in fictional history, up there with Dante and all other sorts of legends.
And yet that dude’s character is also incredible and layered. Holy fuck, I never knew Berserk was such a masterpiece until this video series.
Wanna say that the story with Chitch, the flower spirit felt very typical of a European fairy tale. Short and on point with a open dilemma as the point of the story. The story about the half-elf in Lost Children felt more like a modern retelling of a fairy tale; where as Chitch felt like it could've fetched directly from a periodic story and just told word for word with some elements shifted to fit the scene.

Man, I still remember the day I found out Casca was unpotatoed. My friends and I were waiting in front of our high school’s library before 1st period where of all places, ifunny, showed us Casca’s smile. Needless to say, we all freaked out.
I love Fantasia, and while I understand why people don’t like the Elfhelm segments, I personally adore them. I loved getting to see these characters finally get a break from all the evil in the world and just take in the beauty and peace this paradise has to offer. I can’t wait for the continuation of this story, I have complete faith that Mori will give the story the ending it needed, even if it isn’t the one people were hoping for.
Can’t wait for warships filled with war demons to land on elfheim. It’s gunna be sick.

I think dog guts is quite interesting since it's hard to tell what breed he is Doberman a gaurd dog , a Xoloizcuintili a beast known to guide souls to the underworld but for me he looks like a great dane and the behavior of great Danes are known to be best-natured dogs around. They're gentle, sweet, affectionate pets who love to play and are relaxed with children. They have a great desire to please, which makes them easy to train. The Great Dane wants to be where the family is and if some of that shit don't sound like our sad tired swordsman I don't know what is especially the need to be where family is. Don't be surprised if Guts does get some kind of happy ending, with Casca and the rest. Fate is caused by our choices, and if enough right/good choices are made fate can be altered. I see what you were doing Miura. Well played.

Ive been a fan of Berserk since I was a child and seeing casca regain her sanity made me cry more then I have in my entire life. This series brought me so much sorrow, pain, and grief but at the same time brought me joy, love, and bittersweet happiness. Thank you Miura, we will never forget you.

What a journey. I cheered internally and out loud when the announcement about the continuation of the series would go on. Casca’s sanity coming back is such a powerful moment. Even knowing it was coming in the video, it still hits hard.

In the flashback, Chich is supposed to represent Guts in the present, giving everything he has for someone else, only to die in return.
I think you're reading into it too much, pretty sure It's just a flower bounded elf that helped guts when he was wounded otherwise his wounds wouldn't have healed like they would've.
