Ze Renault Twizy 03-06-2022

I bought a Renault Twizy and a trailer , for a number of reasons.
It is great fun! A quirky little electric runabout which is ideal for exploring little towns and villages on my travels.
I am allowed to tow a total of 750Kgs, including the weight of the trailer.
The trailer is 206Kgs and the Twizy is about 450Kgs, so I am well within the legal towing weight limit.
Anything else, like a Smart car or the like, would have been too heavy.
I had a slight accident making this video, as you will see, but c'est la vie!

With lockable doors, air conditioning and more range this will be a proper replacement for motor bikes.

It is good design..perfect in cities for avoiding Jams...because usually a 5 seaters car used by single or two person only..which means 3 persons in 3 cars occupying space of 15 persons at a time..this kind of vehicle will help in reducing such problem..can save time space and money..

Traffic jams in cities is inevitable but yes, as you mentioned, instead of 3 ppl occupying the place of 15 ppl, 3 ppl in such vehicles will occupy lesser road space thus reducing the number of traffic jams.
A door would definitely improve the riding experience but range is good enough for city traveling.

Twizy is fun but avoid potholes at all times 😄. Do you get wet without the doors in rain?!? On my doors i see the waterlevel the tires throw backwards..

Great Idea, but I never seen a video of a Twizy going up a steep grade, it looks Idea for flat areas, but Hills & Mountain's not so much!

Mine is a Twizy 80, she will do 80kmh and go up hills no problem! Maybe I should do a video...

@@ForeverNeverwhere1 I get your point. However, The cost is quite high at the moment, and the cost of shipping to africa also needs to be factored in. (Considering the meteoric devaluation of my local currency to £ or €)
Meanwhile, I am not in a rush, hence why i used the phrase "keep me in view".
In time, i know, I would get one. Thanks for your input.
