This model is about £8,000 in the UK although you could probably get one for around £5,000 secondhand. Not expensive to run at all - 3.5 hour charge costs £1 and there is zero road fund licence and free servicing for four years. The main expense is the battery lease which is £45 per month for 4,500 miles per year. Obviously this goes up if you do more miles. My wife goes to work in it every day. We've had it about six months now - it's brilliant!
Yes it does seem crazy doesn't it but you have to actually own one to understand it. Our children are grown up so there is only the two of us. We have other cars so this is mainly for fun although my wife commutes to work in it as this is just a 7 mile journey. The point of leasing the battery is that this is NOT in the price of the car and if it ever goes wrong or there is new technology available you're in a good position. It does have a handbrake.
Thanks. Your right that does sound ok. Two more questions if that's alright.1.if you have a low annual milage does the range drop lower & 2.can it go on the motorway(i know). Glad your lovin it . Cheers.
Love the review, my Dominos Pizza in Sunderland has just got one I can drop you a couple pics if you're interested. I was using it today and I loved it, seems a bit better on the battery than the figures claim get a lot of good looks from it.
Probably the best Twizy video on TH-cam! Thanks for sharing.
Very good video! Very sympathic family and what a funny car of the future! Greetings from France! Fred.

Looks like fun!!! Great city car!!
great video and a very nice family...thanks for sharing.
It does look like great fun and also quite practical for urban / commuter driving. It's high time we had a micro car revival.
Thank you. Yes would love to see your pics.
I regularly see them driving around the New Forest. That car is the future.
