@@MelanieRiley-lt2rl Ah thats very kind. I have 3 or 4 more videos, then think it will be time to close the channel and start a fresh else where. Thanks for the support.

Ive just had a pop top fitted to my 2013 custom at the cost of £4500 with 6 lights, roof carpeted, full sliding hatch, scenic canvas and 150w solar panel with victron controller from skylineroofs in durham and id pay it again next week. Being able to stand makes all the difference IMO.
Would be great as getting in when you have the wet suit on, you always have to have the bed put away, and hard to get changed. I can't afford a pop top but would love one.
A 5 gallon bucket with a lid ,put your dirty clothes in it with water and soap, drive down the road, your clothes are agatated, ,dump your water out put clean water in and rinse the clothes, hang on a tree or put up a line to dry them..
Replace the ridge monkey with an SQ professional clam pan, you might be able to put something in it to cook and much cheaper as well. We have cupboards at the side above the work top and along the rear, with speakers in, under our pop top, which definately is a game changer. We carry a rigid solar panel on it, instead of a box though. We chose a lwb, it's amazing the difference in space and access to cupboards, particularly when the bed is down. Our rib bed helps enormously with storage and ease of access to gear, stored beneath as well. More space available to store stuff at the back, equipment beneath the back leaf and bedding etc. above it. We never have to get out of the van to get set up, if it is raining etc.
What's a calm pan? I don't know anybody who does shelves thats the issue an di work during the week so cant be without transport. Van is too small to live in i know some people do, but storage seems to be main issue.
@@BOTG_Adventuresclam pan, looks like a clam, a clam is any member of the invertebrate class Bivalvia-mollusks with a bivalved shell. You can cook those in it as well lol.
I walk my dog alone at night through the woods. I said to my mate it sometimes gets a bit scary. To what he said is Daz it's you that's scary to others.

Thanks Mate, YT doing everything to make me fail. I never got any comment alerts, and some people say they never get alerts when i put a video out even though it all clicked. Im not a lefty so YT won't let me succeed. Simples.
Just found your vlogs, Kettlewell one, looking at your 10 days van life Vlog... Pop top.... Lusso Campers Bradford, got mine done there... No where near £4000... Ring them, you'll be pleasantly surprised (£2600 BTW) .... All the best. Garry.
When I'm in my van from the moment I step foot in it...I lose everything!! I put something down, and it's gone 🙈 storage is most definitely the answer, even though I say that,I've lots of storage I still do it lol.. Routine is definitely key to starting the day off well, keep your window open just a tad to stop condensation, my little van is small so I don't have space for it to become a mess 😂,off to Cornwall soon for a trip and escape normality.
i am not the only one who loses things then h aha it drive same insane lol. I def need some shelves. Window open agree, i need to do a better video on this topic will do another when the van is fixed. Enjoy your travels.

good advice regarding a lanyard for keys regarding your cooking on the road... I'd consider selling your kitchen unit and switching to the likes of a Jetboil? Just a thought

Great videos thank you, have you had any issues with pepper? I have a 20 reg for 3 years since new, and has been pretty good have done 35000 miles. Only issues I have had is Adblue when it gets a bit low light stays on, and recently it won’t go into reverse easy I have to go 3rd then 4th gear and then it is fine going in reverse. I went to a couple of garages and they said it was just one of those things 🥴 otherwise I love the van. Thanks again
Hello mate. I had adblue issues so had system removed. I outlet pipe was clogged and blowing smoke badly. Search here on channel.. But since removal vans been great. Reverse issue plsuges me sometimes as well. Barring that no flawless. Always get timing belt and water pump done every 45k miles and your good to go, great van and a 10th the price of overpriced VW.
@@BOTG_Adventures Hi mate thanks for reply. I have been looking at your other videos really good stuff. Interesting that you have had reverse gear issues sometimes. Cool that you had the Adblue removed may do that to mine at some point. Just one more thing if you don’t mind answering, I am having real trouble finding which coolant to put in the van. (1.5l dispatch 2020) When I bought it had blue coolant in the tank now a few Citroen services later it has orange colour in the coolant tank. If you go to Citroen they sell ‘blue’ coolant and say it isn’t OAT which I am surprised at because OAT is longer life and I am not sure why it would use the ‘blue’ non OAT. Maybe the colours don’t matter anymore. 😵💫Really confused why mine was blue and is now orange though don’t know what coolant to get bloody nightmare. If you type reg into halfords site it comes up OAT (orange) coolant 😵💫 If you put in wrong coolant not great 😫 just wonder what your 1.6 uses? Cheers buddy
@awilson4939, hey mate when it comes to coolant I'll be honest with you I'm not really sure I make sure that I have regular services and get them to change all the fluids for me
