:D unsub and report ? XD Clickbait is part of this bussiness, fing relax. Even if he does, it should not bother, while you watch him because of his content.
I must be missing something. Once you've bought a vehicle outright why can't you can do what you like with it subject to general UK law? You can cut it in two and put both ends on the front and back of a canal boat if you like...
the cracks on the doors are a terrible fault. its called shody building practise by maker of the van... easy to fix. need the door off and hinges off, behind hinges will be a plate that is welded on or should be. need to make that thicker and larger.. being as this is common fault then vw should by law supply and fit new doors.. its terrible to think the prices of new vans and they are falling to bits before the owner even gets it home... should never cut weight of panels to lose weight.....
The wheels look amazing - just bought very similar ones! Also, had no idea about the hinges... Just changed mine! Whoops! Haha, Van is looking great mate!
Hi mate- thanks for the insight into the door hinge problem. I watched your video last night. Checked my van this morning- and found one crack on the left door. what are chances of communicating with you outside of this channel regarding this problem? I’m in Australia and have a long wheel base with overhang 2018 crafter. I can send photos.
The cracks on the rear for hinge is similar to the ford transit mk7 front door, they cracked on the slam lock which keeps doors shut...We removed the panel along side them and had metal plates welded in. Bit of a faf but strengthens the slam part....If you know someone who is a good fabricator you can design an inner plate to help.
Hi bud, I think it’s a common fault with vans period, Transits are the same, I’m wondering whether there is some kind of manufactured strength support plate available or if not possibly fashion one to fit👍
Personally if i buy something, then its mine, i own it.... So VW thinking they have a say in what you do with your property is a joke... Remove the VW badges and they won't have a leg to stand on.
The cracks on the doors are common on many vans. My Peugeot Boxer has the same on the back doors. They make weld in reinforcement plates for mine and I'm sure someone must make them for a Crafter.
french vans you expect more bad build quality, by german no.. but any van regardless should not be like this.. laws are out there and if common fault then they should be made to replace them free of charge with doors that are fit for purpose.
@@philldownes8685 I totally agree with you but I think the manufacturers get away with classing this as wear and tear. My partner on the other hand has a new BMW 7 series and the alloys keep cracking. It's common knowledge this is a problem with these alloy wheels on the heavier 7 series and the BMW 4x4's but BMW won't cover the alloys. I read one poor bloke who takes his grandkids to school (not a boy racer) has had to replace 6 alloys on his BMW so far and they still refuse to acknowledge there is a serious failure with their wheels. It's not damage to the outside rim, it's hairline cracks to the inside of the wheels. BMW are trying to blame this on bad driving and speed bumps and pot holes but my partner's route to work does not have speed bumps or pot holes. By the time my partner pays for the tyre to be refitted to the replacement alloy wheel the cost plus Vat is over £1000 each time this happens. You only have to Google BMW alloy wheel failure and loads show up online. BMW still refuse to do anything about this problem and blame the drivers. 🙄
@@grimreavers Fun fact. If anyone has a cold sore on their lip, it is indeed herpes and here in Japan, that it is what it is called in daily speech. It was a bit of a shock to me and most non-Japanese when they come to Japan and everybody points to your lip and say with some kindness, you have herpes! There are a whole bunch of herpes types. Including shingles and cold sores. In the UK of course, we associate with a STD, but in Japan, it is primarily associated with nothing more than a cold sore. Funny world.
I do hope that you have informed your insurance company of all the changes you have made to your van you wouldn’t want to be driving illegally especially in your job
But if its your vehicle that choice should be yours. If you modify the engine obviously can't claim warranty but other than that it's up to you what you put in it
It just invalidates the warrenty on the stuff you messed with. Whatever you do in the load area is really your own choice. Just use a certified mechanic or the dealership to connect the electrical from the van together with the solar system and the electrical you put in and you are fine for the most part. Just don't mess with the original systems in the van yourself.
you were using a wood drill bit on metal !!! second one you had was correct. also i agree with others, stop the clickbait. you will lose subscribers, just do honest content.
I think you've been punked by someone, VW don't issue cease and desist orders to someone who has converted a van into a camper, it only becomes a legal issue when you change a vehicle and attempt to pass it on as a genuine VW product (Vehicle). Someone is pulling your chain.

Typical click bait nonsense

You can, the cease and desist thing was clickbait.
As long as it’s fully paid for and out of warranty then there’s bugger all they can do.
I had cracks in ine of my doors. It was covered under warranty. I toolbout the all in one cover when I purchased the van. Good luck.
Starting to think you’d make quite a good politician 😂
Home from home conversions do a fantastic wheel carrier with wheels nuts and already oainted , lightweight and all fixings .
drill bit bent because you were using a wood bit on metal
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
UPSTAIRS FOR THINKING!!!! 🤣🤣
Keep rockin Indi Vana. Chaos and wackiness ont road... loving it. Nice wheels bruvva!
You did not realise the drill bit you where using to drill through the door was a wood drill bit!! lol
Have you added weight to the door?
nice click-bait title there - think I'll unsubscribe now
we had a hire van and that had the same problem with the rear doors, they should be replaced by VW if it is a common problem
Great but you should have used correct drill bit buddy 🙄
Looks amazing mate .
Where did you get the rails for your solar panels please
Electrical whole sales locally unistrut
@@iNDI_VAN_A_JONES cheers was it expensive

No one has ever got a cease and desist for turning a van into a camper. Happens rarely for modified cars thats it
Looks good!
Hi, can i ask for a newbie to van life, how do you insure the van?
Does the AllPowers have pass through?
My transit van has exactly the same thing 😂😂😂😂
Yeah- The finish ain’t the best- but- I kind of did it- looks dead rugged - what I was kinda going for. 😂😂😂
That paint does come out savage 😂 was that stuff cheaper than the raptor paint?
Click bait, why?

That paint job 🤦🏻♂️ …..please do a test spray first please for the love of God . Cracking looking rack though . 👍

I'm curious how much all those solar panels cost. The ones @12:38
Depending when you buy them as they do run offers, between £500-£680
@@kevinsmith2994 Is that per panel?
No its for the five panel 400w Allpowers solar.@@aspielife9323
