If your running a boot leg cart you may as well use emulation as that's what the cart is doing but just feeding the video and controls through the harness
Sorry man, it’s a 5 yo video and while I would love to go back and fix all the broken links, I just have too many videos to do that. What exactly were you looking for, maybe I can help track it down.
Thanks man, this has been an awesome series of videos! Which MVS motherboard would be the best choice for a dedicated A1UP/Neo-Geo Mod? (In terms of ease of use, best features) -99% Noob btw
Hey guys! Thanx for a video. I have an arcade cabinet from 90s with Neo Geo inside and I'm thinking about to turn it into a home console. What do you think is it possible?
Could you send me the link of the vid of you applying your tmnt graphics I just ordered some and want watch your vid again before I do but I can’t seem to find it thanks
I'm tempted to do this but correct me if I'm wrong, wouldn't an FPGA solution like Mister which has excellent Neo Geo support be imperceptible to the authentic arcade experience or at least a step up from software based emulators?
I love your channel. I Have a question where i cant seem to find the answer to readily on the internet so i was hopeing someone could answer it here since its kinda the same topic. I am doing a bouild and need to hook up a mvs to a monitor using a rgb to vga connector. Now here is the question, can i use a 5:4 instead of a 4:3 monitor since these are waaay easier to get a hold of where i live (since i am going for a new monitor). Thanks for chiming in 😉
@@RetroRalph too expensive for me to even touch right now. Seen some videos of it tho. Load times are the biggest issue based on what owners have experienced with it
Can anyone help me out here? I can't get the more advanced Neo Geo games to work with MAME in my Raspberry Pi (namely Garou, Sengoku 3, Samurai Showdown 5, etc). It will either immediately quit to the game list or act like it's loading, then become unresponsive for several minutes before eventually returning me to the game list.
It's 4 buttons because that's what Neo Geo uses. This is strictly a Neo Geo Arcade machine using real arcade hardware. If I wanted to convert it later, I could add a new CP easily. Neo Geo uses A, B, C and D... so no need for 6 buttons. Thanks for watching!
It's great to see how original arcade hardware worked back in the days :)
The Last Blade 1 and 2 are some of my favorites after the Metal Slug games.
Last Blade 1 and 2 ROCK!!!
I wanna learn as much as possible about this stuff , so I am glued to channels such as yours my friend.
Ha! I'm too cheap to buy true Neo Geo hardware! Fun watching you work on it though. Thanks man, I always learn a lot from you!
Thanks Greg... Likewise. Keep em' coming man... you're pumping out some great content as well and I'm enjoying it.
Cool video, this looks like it could be a cool project
Thanks man! I appreciate you watching. Turn on notifications so you don't miss part 2 :-)
Great video!! Super informative! Thanks! I was always wondering the difference! RetroRalph!!!!
Love it I will be putting this in my Street fighter arcade 1up ASAP lol or after your 2nd video tutorial 😃

Turf Masters is excellent golf game

Vid was great but some of the links don’t work

It depends, you could always run the games under emulation on a Pi if you didn't want to go through all the steps of using arcade hardware.
I'm going to buy an Mvs board soon. I see some on ebay that dont have snk stamped into the plastic shell. Does this mean it's a bootleg?

Where did you get the artwork for your neogeo arcade1up?
Where did you get the black bezel for the 19 inch ?

I'm trying to hook up an original Mortal Kombat 2 pcb borad to my 1up arcade, and nothing is working, i need help.
What is the main difference between the 1f and 1c
Nice sir. What are ur thoughts on the NEOsd flashcart.
John Phillips #JeyDoeProductions I haven’t actually played with the NEOsd. Do you have any experience with it?

Kind of stupid to leave just 3 buttons to the arcade 1up, you should leave 6 buttons
