I am so happy you survived the electrical incident. That must have been so terrifying. I live in the US and my elders would say, never stand under a tree, turn all the lights off and sit in the dark, no talking on the phone or to each other but rather pray during this time. At 61 I still practice this in our home. The young folks laugh but better safe than sorry. We just survived a hurricane last week and Its nice to come on the internet and find a little peace within your channel.
Nice cooking Jael, well-done. I usually do drop sukuma in boiling water with magadi in for 2 minutes and remove to maintain the greeness then fry like you do
I am so happy you were not affected by the fire ball in the thunder storm. Your videos have been so uplifting. Because of you I got to know that, was not crazy, because I wanted to retire early . To think that I could have missed out on your channel, saddens me. But thanks be to God, you are well.
Thanks for sharing, Jael. I really enjoyed the cooking. Where I live we always cook our collard greens in a big pot of boing water with a lot of different seasonings, onions, vinegar, some sort of meat like a Ham hock. I love it when they are cooked until tender. Never thought to put tomatoes in them. May have to try that sometime.
You're welcome, darling. Here in Kenya, we use tomatoes in all stews. It tastes really good. I understand that we destroy nutrients by overcooking our greens, so I take the least time possible when cooking them. Have a lovely weekend.
I ate Athola at Kosewe Restaurant and it was very delicious. I know you are enjoying it. Lovely dinner. Have you tried making hibiscus tea? I see Hibiscus flowers...
Hey Jael, your dinner looks delicious, I would love to have some of the smoked meat, some of us brown skin people know about smoked meat the way Africans preserve it.Blessings stay safe away from those sockets while having bad weather.
Thank God you were not hurt by the lightening.Your food looks delicious. I love roasted goat meat with plain boiled white yams and vegetables. So yummy😅😂
I'd love to travel to Homabay just to visit you, your farm and see the town (road trip) oooh and eat that kind of meat. I've never been to Homabay before and visiting a Beautiful soul like you can be therapeutic ❤
Thanks for what you have been doing, really inspired and encourage me to quit my job in Qatar to go back Sudan to make my village business. You deserve like, comment, share and subscribe. Accept my greetings from wounded Sudan.
When I come to Kabondo, please make me this meal🤭 It looks so yummy😋😋😋. CORRECTION ON HOW TO KEEP A LUO MAN😂😂😂 Only the ones who want to be kept kcan be kept. No amount of food or the way it's prepared can make these Jambazi stay put when their minds are made up😂😂😂. Kanyo tiwuondowa😂😂😂😂
It's by God's grace you survived that electric shock. My God Almighty be praised. Your stew looks very appetising, but I always get scared the way you add the salt, it's too much and for your age it's better to reduce your salt intake, in order not to suffer high blood pressure.
