@@4GU5GA6 Oh heck, true! And while it was an event location, there was also the inn (I think it was an inn) in Canalave City in Sinnoh, which was also locked!
When you hear this every day when travelling to work, it gets a little same-y. But at the same time, it’s awesome and fire pokemon rule so thats why our town gets best theme.
Crazy how much I initially hated SW&SH, and now all of the tracks & wild area are incredibly nostalgic to me. Something about the over the top, bubbly, punchy vibes of SW&SH has made it very endearing to me now, even though the game was ultimately a bit hollow.
How has NO ONE mentioned Eterna City yet? This is a mish-mash of so many Pokémon songs to attempt to make something new, but frankly all I hear in it is the desire to listen to everything it references. Humilau, Castelia, Slateport, Eterna, Azelea, the list goes on.
Despite my thoughts on the rest of the soundtrack, this not only feels like it's going back to original form, but being a standout track. I honestly thought saxaphones would have been a fantastic motif for the soundtrack of SwSh.
@@amaze_z1953 The soundtrack felt really underwhelming, it lacked it's own sense of personality and style. It sounded okay, just really generic, which I also feel describes Sword and Shield as a whole. It went for this EDM sporty sound, which is great and all, but it never really felt like it was the work of the teams behind the past 6 or so gens. This song, though, I won't even lie blows me away every time. This is what I had wanted from the rest of the soundtrack.
Take this song by itself up to the one minute mark, try to find a way to mix in the middle part / outro of either version of opelucid's theme song with it, and boom. You got a really good medley that I just now accidentally thought of and I couldn't resist posting the idea somewhere lol Edit: funnily enough, it seems like--if the comments are anything to go by--this song is basically just "Accidental Leitmotif: the song" lol
Swsh had some neato pokemon designs and music, but seeing playthroughs of the games makes me not want to pick it up due to the handholding...and this track makes me wish GF would use saxophone a lot more often cause this along with the bell chimes...this song is the vibe of London when seeing travel shows or just plain images (in my opinion...wish i could visit britian and France tho)
This is actually the worst theme song in Pokemon history, it sounds like they hired a person to spam random keys on GarageBand. It's an incoherent cacophony.
I freaking love this score
*the bells at the beginning*
*THE BELLS*
Same sounds really good
The bells indeed my friend..
Reminds me of the darkrai movie and oraciaon for some reason
The bells, the bells, the bells. (Only real Gs will understand)
of Notre Dame
This theme gives me a nostalgic mixture of Hoenn/Sinnoh vibes...
I *love* it.
Same. Sax is my favorite instrument. I just think of a warmly lit cuppa coffee at a midnight café. It’s so relaxing...
Does it also sound like the underground theme?
Mainly Sinnoh SINNOH CONFIRMED
You’re wrong it’s Unova vibes Himulue City and Hoenns Slateport. Y’all Sinnoh fans tried but nah this banger theme used alot of Unova+Hoenn ost 😂
This and Wyndon are probably my favorite city themes in the whole franchise. They both really bring these places to life
Christmas 2019 nostalgia :')
I miss the 2010s
Why do the people in pokemon NEVER lock the door
There was the guy in dppt who locked the door at The Valley Windworks

It's an ideal world
Thanks to this, I can now play this on my saxophone. This is my favorite theme in pkmn sword and shield.
Woahhh, heck, that's awesome!
Epic dude!
I never appreciated how truly beautiful this theme was when SWSH was new. I love it so much.
Same
This is basically a remastered Humilau City theme
that’s exactly what I was thinking
Didn't think about it. It kinda has it's own sound too though
I see more of a Castelia City remaster.
basically a fusion of slateport and humilau, and a bit of Black opelucid
It's my Reflections when I heard hulilau city. Especially the begin is similar, limit same

Oh you live in the real world motostoke?!
Tell me you can’t hear a little bit of slateport here

I just adore how quintessentially British this music is, they really did a good job at capturing the vibe of England

It's honestly not that handholdy. If you can find a used copy for cheap, go for it. Despite, its faults I still consider it a good game.
I thought the Motostoke City music would sound like Castelia City.
Castelia vibes
An amazing game.
