@Rob_Shoot so you have shot them side by side? For one the fatcat is 17 - 4 with inconel blast baffel and is no where near as tuff as the haynes 282 with the dead air. Apples to oranges

People like this guy are over exaggerating the issue making it seem like it happened more than it did without having any direct experience themselves. The problem, I will admit though, is that DA handled the situation horribly. They did not announce any recall, apology, and their CS went silent which is unacceptable. Most of their cans though are perfectly fine despite what these people are parroting what they saw on Reddit
We would need to test them all back to back, from initial testing they all have very low back pressure and good sound reduction. The Lazarus using HUB mount is a nice feature depending on what mounts you want to use.

Visual gas has nothing to do with perceived gas. Look at videos of CAT WB, Velos, etc. They all seem to have a decent amount of port gas but most shooters claim no perceived gas. But of course it's always people with no LBP cans that still think visual and perceived gas are correlated

In fact, it appears there's just as much gas coming out the ejection port as there is coming out of the barrel. I'm left-handed and there's no way I'd shoot a firearm with that much gas shooting directly into my face. But then again who am I going to believe, you or my lying eyes?

The manufacturer of the Sierra 5 screwed DA and decided to make their own cans... They did a bunch of half ass work and DA took the high road and found a new manufacturer that warrantied all the crappy work from KG Made.
As of right now the Lazarus, between those. Not the Sierra for sure and for best sound you want the Lazarus over the sandman s because it's a 30 cal can(sandman s). Also back pressure is least with Lazarus. Only reason to go with sandman s is if u need a 30 cal. can for other guns or calibers but dedicated cans tend to work best like this one for 556 223 and 6mm.
@SilencerShop these new flow CANS just aren't as quiet, all the hype is about less Gass towards the face. For the boys up front ya bad ass it's a daily for them. For us in the states, I'd rather have no flash, what 4 or 5 guy house burglary , so little gas in an instant wouldn't be noticeable. Get my drift

To my ear (tested on a 14.5 shooting M193 556) the Lazarus had lower back pressure and sounded a bit better.
I get it 5.56 is a tough round to suppress, but that sounds way too loud.

Haynes 282 is great but i seriously doubt 99.99% of shooters will ever notice a difference between it and 718 Inconel.

Its very low gas, of course 30 rounds full auto generates some gas, but almost none of it gets to the shooters face.

Judging by the brass ejection, it still seems to have high back pressure.
They didn't show us the ejection pattern without the can. Silencers don't make the ejection pattern better than unsuppressed
