I love my set of Yakrods. The chatterbait rod is money, and the YBFS are powerful enough to land some big fish. Got a 5lb+ Whiper on it, but they are sensitive enough to detect those delicate hits from crappie too.

10lb bass on a Ribbit Frog 🐸!! YES Awesome Chad!!! When I was on Wendell podcast member show , Top 5 lures. My Top No. 1 was a Ribbit frog dark green/ light silver belly paired with a Stanley Double Take hooks. Works great up here in Ohio mid summer/ thick coverage.

I like that Heavy rod, I’ve got a 7’3” HF Daiwa Tatula XT and the rod handle is too long for the kayak.

Hi Tammy. The “Feast is our beast” in our lineup. It is lighter than our competitors for an XHeavy, but still a lot of rod. It is built to pull the biggins out of the mats and the mats too;) Depending on what you are looking for the Foundation Pro heavy may get the job done for you, with less weight.

Foundation Pro MF spinning the Shimano Stradic FL Reel 2500 is a great choice
Foundation Pro MHF and HF - Shimano curado is solid for casters.
If want to go a bit cheaper, go with Lews SPEED SPOOL BAITCAST REEL 2ND GEN
