Seems lately that finding the time to do these videos is the biggest challenge! I've got quite a few unfinished projects, so there's always something to shoot, but finding the time to shoot it, edit it and get it uploaded is tough.

I can imagine Mike, hope you can get one out every month or so. I can imagine how difficult it is. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 you can manage to carry on with this fantastic selection of great videos buddy.

I'd just put a Leacock lantern tank on it. That's the thing about Amish lanterns they are all well used so that Coleman lamp tank may be wanting retirement.😃

The fount is actually in fine shape despite its looks. Turns out that the 427 rubber gasket i was using wasn't cutting the mustard anymore. When I went back to the original lead seal and wrenched it down tight, there were no leaks. Kind of a bummer as the 427 gasket was a nice hack to avoid having to use a wrench.

A question regarding lanterns with pre-heating torches: Is it possible to add a reliable lighting device to ignite the kerosene torch so that a lighter is not needed? I’m not thinking of any specific brand.

Kerosene is hard to light, so an open flame will be needed, IMO
