We found the cat trying to jump out of a dumpster, I thought she was looking for food and got stuck in the dumpster, so I leaned the trash bin a bit to help the cat go out. What we saw next, shocked us.
Somebody thought it's funny to tie a bag full of cans to a cat. Poor kitten ran away immediately and was going to continue running until her heart gives up because she thought something was chasing her.
Luckily we found the cat some time later...

We are Stoyan and Dessy from Bulgaria. We are not organization, neither a shelter, we are just an ordinary couple with a big dream. Everything we provide for the stray cats is coming from our own pockets or with the help of donations from our subscribers. We have 4 cats at home, all rescued from the streets - Sopolcho & Bagheera live with us while Alexa & Rijo live with Dessy's mom, who has been feeding and caring of stray animals for the last 10 years. Bulgaria is a small and poor country with lots of stray cats and not enough kind people to take them in. Our dream is to build a shelter where we could take care of many stray cats with the help of Dessy's mom. Every abuser needs to be put in jail and treated exactly the same way they treated the abused animal. Maybe only then will they start to get it. Witnesses and enablers too. People who stand by and do nothing also share guilt.

Most animal abusers are young children and teenagers, sadly. I don't wish bad on them, but I wish humans were more considerate and kinder to all living beings, not just themselves because they probably had a good laugh and went on about their day not considering the fact that this kitten may have to live with this trauma forever. It's heartbreaking the destruction we do to the earth and its most beautiful creatures, and we wonder why there's so many natural disasters nowadays💔 Mother nature is not happy with us.

@RuSosan Maybe, RuSosan. I'm not saying that I don't agree with you. But I have personally witnessed a lot of this awful cruelty done to helpless animals at one point in my life. I once lived in a bad neighborhood where there were a lot of poor little stray cats and dogs. I couldn't stay there. I had to move. There's too much cruelty done to these poor and helpless little animals.

I started crying watching this and reading your explanations! The poor thing is so traumatized that she isn’t even able to realize your good intentions… It’s sickening what kind of “games” some people are capable to invent to satisfy their sadistic needs or whatever. Did they also throw her into that trash container??
I often think this planet would be much better off without humans. But then I see other humans who love and help, like you do, and then I think… maybe humanity isn’t totally lost yet!

The planet wouldn't be "better" or "worse" without humans.
Just different and more naturalistic until either a total extinction of life happens or another species evolves into similar intellect and does most likely very similar things as humans.
Nature on this planet is cruel and "unfair" by default.
There's very little mutually beneficial symbiosis anywhere, but instead endless competition for survival.
That has caused aggressive traits to survive and in turn that results in those being present in us even now.
We still have the brutal instincts of hunter-gatherers and our evolution has not kept pace with the advancement of our civilization.
Animals are cruel as well. Cats are known to toy with their prey. Minks kill everything they can. Lion males kill the cubs from other males and occasionally their own so the females get in heat again and they eliminate other male's heritage. And so on.
We humans are just the most advanced, but we are also the only animals that even try to adhere to the concept of morality.
Naturally, since we created it.
Point is, there are some horrible people and broken dangerous people out there but overall most people would condemn these horrid actions against the cat methinks.
More and more laws for animal protection, civil rights etc. have been passed all iver the world.
The overall development for mankind has been positive, despite all the crap that's going on now.

I'm 72 and retired from truck driving. My two Himalayan kitties (pictured) help me cope with anxiety and depression. It was hard for me to watch this little kitten suffer from the terrorizing treatment she had been subjected to. God bless you for rescuing her. I wish I could adopt more kittens but I'd be afraid my cats would get jealous or think I'd abandoned them for the new ones.

@@landang7906 I don't think there's a video, but the owners of Paw Meow did confirm awhile back that they couldn't domesticate the poor thing. After finishing her treatment, she was released in a different city that had a cat sanctuary, I heard.
That is one of the cutest kittens I’ve ever seen. What was done to her is unspeakable. My soul hurts for this and all other innocent animals . People who hurt animals should rot in hell.

Please keep us updated. A friend had a cat like this who went nuts in the bathroom. It took a while to calm her down, but she's a good indoor kitty now. Definitely keep her confined for a while until she can relax.
Since the kitten is in a cage you can consider laying down on the floor near her and just talk to her or him I don't know the gender of the cat but even though the cat doesn't understand our spoken language all animals can feel what is inside our hearts. The cat is calmer in the cage and she did blink her eyes so she doesn't have the hard terrified stare anymore. You can lay down so you appear smaller and the animal has to choose to trust or not. I would like down belly up and just talk softly to her. I dont blame the cat if it never trusted again but obviously Heavenly Father sent you to rescue that cat and perhaps Heavenly Father will let the cat know and it's tiny little heart that you are not evil in time the cat will trust you. God rescues all the time we just can't understand how complex it is. God is always rescuing his creation.In time He rescues all of His creation. In His time. It's perfect time. We will understand it after we die , but as long as we don't chose eternal death. We must follow the One True God and believe in the Savior Jesus Christ. Amen

Our Khaleesi was like this. We caught her as a baby under a bunch of metal beams and she went nuts in a carrier. 4 years later she is wary of strangers but she is the sweetest cat we have.

The only NICE thing I can say is to her RESCUERS.
Had a flashback to my shelter days.
I was a vet tech at a no kill shelter for 10 years.
The bathroom was my "exam & procedure" room too!🤣
We had it "redecorated" a few times.
Learned quick to not clutter the vanity!
They were "exceptional" cats that took off the mirror on the medicine cabinet, the bathroom light & one who managed to jump, climb the wall & walk along the moulding around the bathroom closet!😱😬
It's so so sad seeing them so afraid but, like you I had no choice.
I had to do the things I did to help the cat.
I'm glad you were able to free her.
But like you afraid the trauma may be too much to overcome.😞

Oh, 10 years - you have seen a lot of stuff. Yesterday we were called on emergency by our vet. Few days ago we had left a very large dog in the clinic for urgent surgery. They removed 20 kilograms infected cervix from the dog. Saved her life. But she was a stray dog, she's used to live outdoors and hates to be kept indoors. So she broke a window and escaped the room they kept her, also chewed off some water pipes. And vet called us to come and get her back. We had to release her back on the streets. But at least she is healthy now and happy back on her street near the forest.

Unfortunately nobody registers their pets here, they don't even neuter them. It's full of stray animals, so it's close to impossible finding out the owner.. if there is an owner.

It sounds mean, but I'm with you 100%. I think people who drive their animals out to the middle of nowhere to dump them should have that as their punishment. Blindfold them, drive them an hour away, then kick them out and tell them to find a new home. Turns out I have a sadistic streak too, but only towards those who hurt animals. ❤🐾

Justice is them having to face due legal penalties, fines, time in jail, getting a lifetime ban on owning animals etc. and getting a mark on their criminal record as "violent towards animals" which would then prevent them from ever applying to jobs that have to do with animals, elderly people or children for example.
And all this assuming they could be PROVEN guilty of course.
What you're advocating for is evil and violates legal due process, international humane treatment treaties and basic human rights to a sickening degree.
