i dont play a lot of zeroranger but doesnt making a video about how to cheat just make it easy to cheat in the leaderboards? Like this just makeing the actual achievers look bad and less genuine. Just my opinion tho i dont get the point of it
for the fun of it and in case others might want to make it easier for themselves to get through the game if they are that kind of people imo it is no different from modding/getting a mod that lets you blaze through things without consequence, which is what basically any game has yes people could use this to cheat the leaderboards.. but that is entirely their choice if they decide to do such, as with any game in general
In fact, it is quite easy to cheat in any independent game, just make a small change to the damage or open the invincibility directly. Although you are right in one respect, people who can't cheat will not cheat even if they have the ability to cheat, and people who can cheat will cheat even if they don't have the ability to cheat. However, reducing the ways to obtain cheats can make the rankings much cleaner. Even if people watch the video from beginning to end, it is difficult to find small cheating changes. Not everyone is like you and me who openly declare and show the art of cheating.
@@ZERO-LICH i suppose you are right in that aspect, but if it does as little as help five people out with their needs, then it is a job well done in my eyes as for the cheats themselves, i merely pave the way - anyone can add the values they want and obtain the results they want as a result, perhaps i should provide even more ways to cheat, though, as i did toy with damages ingame too recently

At this time, I was discouraged and decided to try my luck on TH-cam. As a result, I really searched for your video through TH-cam, which was undoubtedly a huge help to me. Before your video was released, whether through wiki, Google, or the community, it was impossible to know how to turn on the debug mode without asking the developer or others. Even though I repeatedly considered the instructions on the wiki, I was only one step away from success, that is, I typed helpme in the game to try to seek help, but In any case, I can't think of holding down the spacebar Single-player independent games don't have built-in online rankings, and cheating can only deceive yourself. If you really cheat a little, you need a lot of practice to get away with it. People who can do this don't need to cheat at all. In fact, there are not many players in this game, so there is no need to worry too much about cheating. The role of the community is dispensable to me. Even if someone gets a community role through cheating, it is not worth showing off or being proud of. On the contrary, the public debugging mode may have a very small possibility that people who see this video can make some contributions to MOD modification or bug fixes or find undiscovered game features. I personally think that the benefits outweigh the disadvantages. Developers should choose to turn a blind eye to this, and it can also save developers the time to reply to other people's inquiries.
@@ZERO-LICH i whole-heartedly agree with you in that developers should not really mind things like this as for cheating for community awards and whatnot, as someone who has done it, i have to say i have only done it solely because i already had the plan to dip after getting the roles, only to have a chuckle or two for myself, and i also made my cheating extremely obvious.. if anything, i would have been flabbergasted if people did NOT realize what was wrong but yes, some people out there will cheat and try their best to cover it up, perhaps even for years. that kind of people is lame, in my opinion but if it is done exclusively for fun and to mess with the system of things, then i approve of it personally, trolling is the best
