Chiki Chiki Boys (Genesis/MD)Playthrough/What was once forcibly taken away will be forcibly regained

Chiki Chiki Boys (1993) by Visco also known as "Mega Twins" is a platform game in a fantasy world that saw its beginnings in the arcade. In the game we play as two twins who are the sons of the king of a once conquered land, by an unexpected attack of monsters. Having grown up, the boys undertake an attempt to liberate this land to restore balance and order to the old days. Chiki Chiki Boys is not just a quirky title, but a full-fledged well-programmed platformer with rich graphics and a rather unremarkable soundtrack. By the way, when it comes to the basics, the game is made really solidly. Controlling is intuitive and very simple, and the only thing we have to worry about here is taking care of the amount of life, magic and just remembering to take any funds encountered in order to improve the abilities of our character or regenerate life, etc., because with the completion of each level we'll start another one in the store. The lands we will visit are really interesting and nicely designed, additionally they hide many secrets. Admittedly, not everyone will like the way of discovering them, as it's mostly done by attacking various points on the screen, after which the crates really glide out of nowhere. It's a bit lame, but it's better than nothing. On top of that, the gameplay is enriched by flying as well as swimming levels, but they can easily be classified as similar, as the mechanics used in them are almost similar to each other. The game also offers two different endings..... the usual one and the good one. Yes you could not finish the game the right way on the first try so you had to go through it 2 times not counting failures..... to discover the actual ending. I personally recommend this truly colorful game as it provided me with quite a bit of entertainment. The game is not difficult , and I would even say that it is just right for a console port. If I ever have the opportunity to purchase it, I will probably do so.
