Bro thank you so much, about 2 years ago I came across your vids. They inspired me to activate that fisherman inside of me that I didn’t know was even in me. Since then I have gotten off my rear end and have been fishing my heart out and actually have been catching a ton of freshwater fish. It has been like a new reason to look forward to things again ! Minute 17...I know exactly how that feels. I have a nine and seven year old. I wish I could spend more time with them even when I'm with them. The present may be hard at times, but even those moments become precious once they pass. Savoring and enjoying every single moment with the kids is the best you can do. Before I had kids a mom I know said, "Kids just break your heart." I asked her what she meant and she talked about how they were just always growing away from you. I didn't get it at the time, but now that my girls are closing in on twenty, I've understood what she was saying so many times over. Breaks your heart and fills it of any afternoon.
Feel you bro. And 50/50 no matter how hard you try. I'm batting .3 with my 3. Wasn't for lack of trying and hurtful seeing a loved kid just keep taking wrong turns. Took me 25 years to understand I should shed the guilt and be happy they are alive and not in jail or sick. A lot of parents deal with way worse and make it thru. Can't blame anyone but if you tried your best you take that.

Avocado oil is great for frying. High smoke point, neutral flavor and not a seed oil.

Healthiest oils to fry in are avocado oil, Ghee, coconut oil, and extra virgin olive oil.

Dude congratulations on your newest addition to your family! Cherish every moment! For what it's worth you are big part of why I started my channel! Because of that I have hours of of my dad and my son on our boat he passed away this man but I am extremely grateful I have all those hours of footage. My son was only two and a half and he can still pick out Papa out of a photo and it makes me happy that he also will have those memories forever. As far as being emotional it just shows your a good dad! God bless!

I know exactly where you caught that fish just by where you were prepping everything and the big rock island in front of the spot. Such a cool spot to just enjoy the view wouldn’t have ever imagined someone would fish that spot cuz of the terrain but damn great fish. Congrats.
Few other spots with a few anchors set in as well. Some of the coves around there used to have better access until the erosion ate away at some of the little trails on the edge. Really need to get a safety line before you traverse any of it imo one slip and thats it.

It seems like only yesterday that my own baby was born, I blinked and suddenly she's all grown up and a mother, now the next time I blink my grandbabies will be grown and maybe mothers also, or who knows, maybe I won't be around for that; but the moral of this is.... You are right, enjoy those moments with your kids, they come and go all too quickly and in the end those memories are all you will take with you to the 'other side'....Thank you for sharing that with us also, as for you getting emotional, that tells me YOU get it....Love to you and your family.......

Great vid as always! As for the oil question for cooking....Extra Virgin Olive Oil from a glass container will be healthiest for fish, some like coconut oil or avocado oil, those 3 are best. For red meats, tallow, butter or ghee are healthiest (grass fed if you can find it).
