I wouldn’t give it a mark I’d give it to the dogs , £1006.19 pence for an English breakfast that you can have any day where you live for under a tenner , I see brits almost every day making videos of where to get a full English breakfast , that and a walking street or beach road video showing the same bar girls trying to drag people in , it’s just lazy content , I much preferred your earlier content going around Thailand seeing some interesting places and different foods , regards and all the best Davy

Paddys is way overpriced, as is Route 66 diner. Best value and quality in the area (and a massive choice of breakfasts), is Tulip on Soi Siam (Pornprapaminit), just before the PT station on the left.
Im in patts right now, many bars have no customer's, lots of business have gone bankrupt, having been here many times over the years, for me the shine has worn off.the place is a stinky dump...i won't be coming back.

Hello Geoff an interesting look around the temples and some tasty bites with the soi dogs. Yes its the darkside because the lighting has only happened in recent times. The breakfast looked the real deal and the coffee i would have just asked them to top it up. Interesting vlog keep smiling Geoff 😊
Please allow me to make a suggestion, It’s beautiful that you feel the dogs 🐕 but be careful about stroking them and then touching your eyes face or eating food without washing and sanitizing your hands.

It was called the dark side because when the electric in central pattaya went down they used to take it from over there leaving them in the dark…hence the dark side
You were lucky the dogs were friendly..... although most are when there's a chance of food! I've been to Pattaya Railway Station before, if you arrive at Suvarnabumi on TG 911, the morning arrival, you can catch the one train a day (2 at weekends though) to Patts. Just catch the Slytrain one stop to Lat Krabang, pop downstairs to the SRT station and get to Patts for around 31 Bhat!

Hey Geoff. Absolutely love these videos, really enjoyable. Properly showing the diversity and fun in and around Pattya and Thailand. I also enjoyed the A380 vid from Manchester which was also very informative. I have only ever sat upstairs in Business or First so I have never seen economy but I must say it looked very nice and great value. Incidentally, you can get a lounge in Dubai too if you want! I shall be visiting End Feb beginning of March so if you are about and fancey a beer, just drop me a line here! Keep the videos coming, happy new year and the best of luck for 2024! I love Paddy’s! Great food, excellent service, a well-stocked bar with some decent single malts such as Macallan 12 among others, and a cigar lounge. I always make a point of catching a Bolt taxi out there on Lake Machupan when I’m in Pattaya.
I love it how people think its HP brown or Heinz tomato sauce. Would you really know the difference if i filled it up with another while your on holiday .....
Hi, Geoff. I have been coming to Thailand and Pattaya in particular for the past 32 years, but I have never been on the dark side. There are lots of ex-pats who live there, and from watching other bloggers' videos The place has a lot more to offer than it used to. Nick Dean has done a couple of videos about Paddy's Pub and Grill. It's a nice place, but it is a little expensive. The food looked very nice. Because of the price, plus, the fact that you didn't get a free top-up of your coffee. I would have given it no more than an 8. Another nice little video. Neil.

yeah because 20 plus years back very few street lights etc, but there are so many streets named after famous land marks on the street which have now gone, and the nickname has stuck soi honey and soi diana both streets named after big hotels now gone, soi yamato, soi post office, still have there landmarks there, they are probably the best known but there are many more,
Lake Maprachan has changed so much Geoff . I lost my best mate living there for 2 years and we always went out riding on our bikes every morning . I Miss Him today) He always spoke about the "Dark Side" and i never knew the meaning !! 18 years on I want to know. Even the Locals didn't know back in 2004 !! This was long before I knew about You Tube . Good on ya feeding the soy dogs mate 🙏🙏💯
