    I know Vevor for some time now, from AliExpress, from when I was searching for an IR Camera, there I saw them advertising their Large Range of US Cleaners and a whole bunch of other Tools. What I didn't knew was, that they have many Warehouses over the Globe, for example the cleaner they send me came from the Czech Republic in 3 Days to Austria!
    In a next Video I will Show Details and the Fully Reverse Engineered Schematic of one of the Ultrasonic Power Driver Boards for the VEVOR Cleaner.
    In the Video I said that "The Auxiliary Power Supply is for the FAN too", that's wrong, the FAN is a 220V AC Metal Aluminum Cast, Interesting that they used a rather expensive Fan for that.

    Many years ago, I worked on a power inverter project for ultrasonic cleaners. In general, the inverter is self-oscillating because it is very difficult to tune an independent oscillator as a signal source for driving an output power stage. The load inside the tank alters the natural oscillation frequency, so the best way to excite the ceramics is in a self-oscillating circuit.

      The frequency variation due to the load is small (a few hundred Hz), but it is enough to take the ceramic out of resonance, causing a significant drop in the transfer of mechanical power. You can visualize this by using a sensing coil (connected to the scope) wrapped around one of the cables of one of those ceramics.

    Hi Konstantin, nice teardown. I known Vevor for a few years now, they have a wide range of devices for different branches like welding, auto industry etc.....
    But you get what you paid with Vevor, they have very sharp prices on most of there devices, they useally made very simple, but do the job where they are intended for.
    I have a 500VA Variac from Vevor, nothing special, but it do the job. It was the cheapest Variac that i could find, and the build quality was better then i expected.
    It seems with this UItrasonic cleaner they have cutted more corners, by not using the correct nuts so that the frontpcb came loose due its own vibrations.
    Also to note, but this you will propably known already, you have to look out for pcb's with relays, not every relay may be placed in a ultrasonic cleaner.
    There are semi-closed relays, and sealed relays, these last one can be placed in a ultrasonic cleaner without any problem.
    Speaking of relays, here is also a interessant note that not many people know, and is not always published in the datasheets of a relay.
    Most relays have a notch in the plastic cover, this notch is a closed vent hole for releasing the ionizing gas that is created due sparks during switching. Excess of this gas cause shorting of the lifespan of the contacts. When a pcb is made and cleaned in a ultrasonic cleaner in factory, they normal open this notch after cleaning, but most manufacturers don't do this (because most don't know about the function of this notch).
    Some relays have a opening on the pcb side for releasing this gas. For low current applications this vent doesn't play a role, but in heavy current used relays, it does.
    Looking forward to the reverse engineering of the transducers drivers. Grtz

      Hi Bjorn, Thankyou! I think they just didn't thought about it with the nuts, bcs the price difference is almost 0. The very thin Stainless Steel Metal Housing is more a cutting Corners. But for that Price with that Specs and the good results I archived at my first amateurish Cleaning, its unbeatable. I am sure the cleaning will be much better by using the suitable Cleaning Solution Mix and a much better Jar :-) Concerning the Relais in US Cleaners, thankyou , I knew it but didn't gave it a thought bcs I never used one before :-).
      The board I Demo cleaned with the relay was just a keeper (bcs 1st Prototype) from an 2018 larger Project (there have been over 2000 of these boards made for use in Cable-cars in Latin America).
      I wanted to include the Reverse Engineering of the Powerboards in the same Video, but it would had get too Long. Cheers, Konstantin

      @@KonstantinGrigoriadis i have very small no branded ultrasonic cleaner for cleaning my glasses and earrings, in the begin i used the cleaning product that my optical store sold for manual cleaning, this was based on Isopropanol alcohol, but i found the cleaning results not that great and found ultrasonic cleaning was way overrated.
      But after that i used regular dish soap, and that gave very clean glasses with no stripes att all and i was very surprised.
      So you can try that as well. Also the jar is a good practice, otherwise you have to replace lots of cleaning liquid. Wit a jar of zip lock bag, the surrounding water on the outside is only used as a "conductor" for the ultrasonic waves. Grtz

      ​@@BjornV78The Liquid I used to clean the PCB's is Soap Based, well not so great for Hardened Rosin Flux, I used it bcs the one I ordered to try for PCB's, hadn't arrived yet. I made the smaller Yellow PCB's extra Crunchy to see what the Results would be:-)
      The guy that soldered the Green one used water soluble Flux, that was easy.
      As for the Jar, yes, thats why i did it, bit not sure if the Jar I used (Hard Thicker Plastic, was all I had 🙂) was the best solution, Perhaps Glass or Tupperware Plastic would have been better. Cheers.
