    Ausi Celeste you remind me of the late great Dick Gregory. Very successful career in comedy, but when he got off stage and a mic was put in front of him he will address any social issue, especially if that discussion was going to make society a better place for all.
    If ebomini you are ever defined by one thing then you have definitely failed at this life thing. Continue to show those that seem to not know yet that there is no lane. The whole field is the lane. Khuphuka njalo Ndlovukazi👑

      With love and respect, I remind you that I am there to hold space and not debate. It takes great discipline to actually listen to guests and not impose my own ideas. Our guests do not hold the same opinions as me. I am happy youre enjoying the content tho 💛you will get to challenge my opinions and views on other platforms. My sole role on UNPOPULAR OPINION is to make the space safe for the guest to express themselves.
      Again, the views of the guests are their own and do not represent anybody on the show but themselves 💛💛💛

    This is a very powerful podcast; me a woman holding a woman accountable. Sometimes are out of order and women are like to play victim in situations they willingly participated in. Women can be everything they want or desire without keeping it under the veneer of masculinity or comparison to men or shading men. Like what Celeste has said has nothing to do with men and everything to do with women, which is what she is. Not unless we want her to not have a voice that looks and sounds different from our preferred voice, then we will feel a certain way about her.
    Thank you ladies for a great conversation, we are too diverse as women and the representation of that is always a breath of fresh air🤩🥰🤩🥰

    I LOVE CELESTE'S APPROACH SHE HAS A POINT! Being an anomaly can really be a challenge but it is needed. THIS IS SO ME AS WELL! This hypersensitivity is robbing folks from GETTING OVER THINGS AND DISCUSSING OTHER FACTORS, WHICH ARE IMPACTED TOO. SO TRUE, WOMEN WHO CAN NOT ADMIT THEY ARE WRONG ARE THERE. I got over myself and learned to become accountable, considerate and empathetic. However, discernment is vital on who you are to express this gift.
    ON THE MEN PART, yes they are human too.

      @@khanyiso514 i believe every woman has a unique + different path; we all cannot be the same we are different in order to model what is possible. even if you have kids, get married etc, you are still YOU as an individual. previous women generations i think were not always allowed to be for themself, and that is why i think one can have a lotta bitter mothers, aunts, maternal figures cz they feel robbed later on in life. they didn't live full lives they lived for others like hubbies, kids etc. then they see a next generation of women making different choices and they start beasting with you cz you may have and excercise and CHOOSE to create more agency for your SELF to flourish.

      Another problem in what you just said is that women alone cant survive without men but men can survive without women "facts" why cause men built this worldwide women use and live in..🤞. if i am lying name any female species on earth that can survive without a male? My point is encouraging women to die alone is detrimental to the female species cause women need men one way or another...🤞

    • @SheCanSmile
      @SheCanSmile 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@khanyiso514 I like how you're assuming she was sad. Quite the contrary. She is survived by her siblings, and even if she were married, what is the guarantee that she would have had kids? Not everybody is assigned to be parents and marital partners in this life. We have bigger purposes. She had no illness, still rode her bike at 86, taught others tennis, was a known and respected person in the community, an avid gardener, sold produce from her gardens, went on holy pilgrimage as her religion prescribed. And many other good things. Here I am talking about her years after her death... so her life as a woman and her impact still matters.

    It was very interesting watching you Ntsiki and Celeste Ntuli bonding over how "fragile" as queers we are. These are the same people who called us all kinds of mean things when we were growing. We are killed everyday for simply living our truth. Religion reduced us into nothingness. Portrayal of us in the media has been rooted in dangerous stereotypes which seek to dehuminize us. People play politics with our lives which is why in the Global South you're literally stoned to death for being queer. Not so long ago in the USA an employer had the right to fire you for being queer. I could go on and on. All this has traumatized us and there are virtually no safe spaces for us to unpack all this trauma. And you're surprised why we're so "fragile".
    At some point, black women also faced these challenges. And were labelled angry/emotional for speaking out against them. I find it very interesting how they are using the same language of patriarchy and racism to gaslight us. It is now us who are labelled angry and emotional when we call out queerphobia. I see lately it is becoming increasingly popular to call us "toxic". We demand consequences for queerphobia and we're labelled "toxic". Queers, if we think black women are on our side. HAHAHA. Homophobic ukufa ezo kaka zabantu.
