One time coming from school; Brenda Fassie was a filling station filling up her BMW Dolphin convertible. One of the school kids saw it was her and screamed her name; all of a sudden the car was surrounded by school kids - she took the car top down; played weekend special and danced on the back seat singing along
Brenda Fassie was a performer for life;not for a profession ✊🏼RIP Queen

Love, love, love Celeste, her mind is totally brilliant. She understands her role as an artist to be the conscience of society. I had to watch this interview twice because she has such a refreshing insight into the human relations. I share her views on a lot of things and there are so many gems in this interview but what resonated with me most is “I’ll never date a black man who doesn’t understand that we need to break generational curses”, this right there is what we as black women should be about!

What I appreciate about Celeste, she is smart and understands the world. Her statement "black people has political power, but no economical power".
    Analyzes structures, a free mind
A black woman that is not angry.
But is happy. Can use her intelligence
    to perform as a comedian.
