Development🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 should go beyond skyscraper buildings, tarred roads, stable currency, low taxes, low unemployment, high income etc. It should reach the quality of humanity - eating organic nutritious food, pure water💦 getting enough rest, breathing Clean Air etc.
Thank you very Sis Ntsiki for bringing over uSis Phapano❤️ ❗❗❗❗❗

38:47 when you look even further on a global scale… there’s a reason why populism is in vogue.
People are focused on Afrikan migrants, yet even Western middle class is in the grips of classism. Multinationals are running this whole thing.
Things l have been saying for years, but now said with more detail and intellect. I love Phapano. She gets it🙌🏾👌🏾

Exciting to see youth taking baton. Just a short comment on China. China is a People's Democracy in transition from Capitalism to Socialism. Mao focused on philosophy while Deng focused on economy. All rich states, Capitalist and Socialist followed same path of industrialisation. SA must follow same route using minerals and agriculture as driver of industrialisation. Salute Phapano and you Mamyiya

I am on a shift. This genius of political science deserves my undivided attention. I cannot listen to the premiere. Once my shift ends, we have a date. I wish I was literal.

She's not a socialist though. She is a capitalist and that's a good thing.

That migration for cheap labor of our fore fathers left a painful trail of single parenting that we re still suffering from and basically needs cleansing. it has also birthed things like co- parenting and staff, their looting, corruption has left us in pain and has destroyed the foundation of family structures.

Phaphano nailed it! The term "Black middle class" is a facade, the reality is that we are all poor because the majority of our people don't even play in the marketplace, despite access to capital.

Don't mind my shallow assessment of how people look right now😂🤣🤣👏🏽. I'm in a space where I check if the Spiritual matches the Physical. Too many people focus on the internal and abandon physical appearance kanti we must sometimes reflect the innet self externaly😅❤. Ms P's mind is GOLD

That was way too short with so much to unpack and yes indeed the Apartheid system had its own socialistic principles for its own white constituency. Protection with developmental support was provided for white capital to thrive off black servitude. The Malawian Colonial Govt in the 1950's had labour agreements with Mine owners. We need a series to discuss and unpack this knowledge to make Afrika Great again. Bravo Ladies, thank you for the historic reflection of the week.

I’m not sure why this episode was so triggering to me, it was just emotional for me to watch. Although I wasn’t present during the apartheid era, I could not help but have flashbacks of what was happening… “…White privileged was born out of black servitude…”
I felt that! How do we change this reality as the SA youth of today so that our children and our children’s children get to inherit a cleansed South Africa! Truly free and liberated?

I think she gets tripped up a bit talking about Japan because the Japanese and Chinese models are so dissimilar. She self edits back toward China's mindset due to her politics and that's a red flag. They tend to have that effect on people. Pass on that mess. I'm down for free thought and China just don't have it in them.
