I have visited many channels and watched endless hours of equipment reviews and tutorials but nothing has resonated with me like the legacy you have created here. I am impressed, intrigued and excited to see what's coming next (though the existing content you have already gifted the world is by far more than I ever learned in my earlier years in film and animation school). I hope you keep it up. I just subscribed to your Patreon and I hope more people follow suit as you deserve enormous credit and support for maintaining such a high standard through so much challenge and tragedy and persevering. Great video as always! I will say though, I don't understand the recent obsession with the stylized teal and orange look. I understand if it serves the story, like in "Bladerunner 2049", but it seems like tons of filmmakers are using it all the time. It appears unnatural and digital-looking; not as "filmic" in my opinion. For me, a much more ascetically-pleasing and natural look is a warmer tungsten glow, using shadow to emphasize the contrast. An example would be much of the lighting scheme in "The Spectacular Now". I like Aputure lights a lot, but in most of their tutorials, they end up making the scenes look so over-stylized and fake. Would love to see a tutorial using LEDS to create the tungsten-glow-shadowy.. Hmm wish I had a better way to describe it.. But the go-to lights for that look are usually Arri fresnels. If you could achieve that look with LEDs and made a tutorial of it, it would blow up! I'd be eternally grateful. Cheers!

Hi, Nice idea and work, but where is the final promo film? It would be nice to see it too. On the shots I can see here, the skins seem to be very red/pink and not orange. but I guess you correct that afterwards.
Your content is awesome, and really excellent and the look you create is fabulous, I have suggestions, why you do not create online training series, you create in it 5 minutes horror movie , you show in it how to light and block the scenes, many series just show the lighting without blocking as still photography, I suggest you show in it how to tackle it with cheap gear like red head fixtures and 1k , 2k spot lights , I am sure many people will buy it , Because you are very creative , and o I am sure you will give very creative cinematic look , hoping you think in my suggestion
