For those who don't know fufu is not a ataple of only Nigeria it is a staple of west africa
Not only. Its also eaten in central africa. Called fufu but we make it with cassava flour and corn flour mixed. Or just cooked by itself. Eaten also in east africa ans southern africsn country but have different names

I need a fufu. To buy were can i get fufu tobuy
Fufu in the Ghanaian Twi Akan language means white because of the colour of cassava. Hence, the name given to this Ghanaian dish by the ancestors. The Nigerians call theirs pounded yam. They make theirs in a different way. West African countries now have adapted the name 'fufu'. They also have special names for the dish. It would be good to learn those other names, too.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Marcy say she gave up lol I've never had it before but i love your honesty and transparency you did well for your first time i appreciate the effort thanks for sharing it with us
Lol next time it’s the microwave for me
yesss i started making fufu in 2020 its a little time consuming but I like making it!!! I prefer the stove top method and I also use the plastic wrap. me nar dip my hand inna no hot fufu🤣
I have never had Nigerian food before. I knew a Nigerian man when I lived in Peterborough and worked at Pearl Assurance plc and I went to London to stay with his family but they were more interested in me teaching his wife to cook Jamaican food especially rice & peas. But it is good to see your are researching our Nigerian food.
Thank you dear❤️
As a Jamaican, fufu is soo good. Alongside Nigerian pounded yam too
I will try the pounded yam next, thank you
I rather the Dutch pot cooking...No microwave food for me...Curry goat and Dahl is India's culinary...FuFu is from Continent Africa.
We're one Big Dutch Pot though...Cooking and enjoying all culinary cultures . ❤❤❤
You could add Farina to the cookertop fufu , try starch next - cassava only but put palm oil it looks translucent lovely with fish tea / pepper soup x

As a Jamaican, how did it taste? Do you think I can cook for a dinner and continue to eat it?
It’s yummy. Youll like it a lot
was this sweet?the fufu? with cassava...I have some and mine was sweet...I wasnt looking for that taste though
Honestly I am not a fan of fufu and have never made it, you sure did well
Plantains on the other hand, I am a sucker of, yum! Well done
Oh wow, it was my first time and I enjoyed it with the curried goat, we love fried plantains in this house as well. Thanks for watching
I love fufu but I don’t eat it with my hands, I eat it using fork and knife. Using bare hands is odd.
They used green plantain for the thickness and you used too much water
Did u add any salt in the fufu?
I think
Less water
You just used too much water
Cute
I have never tried fufu
It was my first time
You added too much water and that’s why it wasn’t holding up. Less water gradually
Why don't they eat fufu with etiquette? Everytime I watch the video of preparation of future the eating part is disgusting. Is it the video makers manners or that's how it should be eaten?😂
