    I would really love to hear more Scandinavian stories, I live in Sweden myself. And as usual Darkness, your narration of stories never disappoint.
    Much love from Sweden..

    When you get to listen to well above average narrators like your channel, you realize what real quality is. I love the fact that you have the ability to convey your emotions and actually breathe life and feeling into the stories that you read.

    • @Swamp_Queen
      @Swamp_Queen 2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Also the fact that he somehow produces this quality of content while simultaneously creating a multitude of other shows, new podcasts every other day and taking care of a new baby.
      Even if he had an employee for everything except for the actual recording, the fact that he's able to keep up the ridiculous quality of voice work alone is crazy.
      He has every ounce of respect I possess. A living God, I swear.
      Edit: grammar

      @@lisa.user-xm7kz2tb6x Yeah,it’s not too often that you find a person who knows how to make a story come to life. DP is one of those narrators who have the ability to make you feel like you’re actually in the story. He is really articulate,as you said,and he doesn’t have a monotone voice,which I personally don’t like at all.

    Gods be DAMNED I'M BLOWN AWAY!! I'm so happy you narrated my story!! (Joel W the Bladesmith here)
    Next time, I'll try not to cram in too much disruptive exposition that breaks the flow of the story. I just have so many memories of those years upthere!^^
    Thank you SO SO much. It was AMAZING to hear how you managed to turn my stiff writing into something so nice!! A true experience!
    I'm gonna link this to the FB group where we who went to this school hang around. I bet they will know the exact places I'm speaking of.
    Thanks again!!

      I'm from Norway, your story really made me excited. I'm a big believer in cryptids, Bigfoot, Dogman etc. Trolls obviously is close to heart cause its nothing more scandinavian than that. Was your story made up or did you really see a Troll?

    • @Swamp_Queen
      @Swamp_Queen 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      No, it was very well written. Your descriptions of everything were very beautifully written. Enough details to fully picture it but not too many as to drag the story on. That paired with impeccable narration, it was the perfect story telling. I'm not a huge fan of cryptids, not because I don't believe they exist, I just feel they've increased in popularity and it's usually the same story told many times over; that was not the case here. I would love to hear more of your time there and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

    • @Swamp_Queen
      @Swamp_Queen 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Also, one more praise before I go.
      A lot of people feel their experience is too dull so they end up added something to make it more exciting, to make it more Hollywood which ends up ruining an otherwise believable and scary story and turning it into an obvious lie. It bothers me for many reasons that I won't bore you with, however, whether you did add to your experience or not, I wanted to thank you for not doing that.
      Your story was real and scary without all the extra Hollywood theatrics.
      A monster chasing you through the woods? Real and believable.
      A monster chasing you through the woods, right as you see the opening to the trees you're grabbed from behind, the monster caught you and youre dead for sure, but a raven swoops down out of nowhere, poking the monster in the eye causing it to drop you to attack the bird that flew out of reach just in time, allowing you the chance to run to freedom and as you ran away you heard the screams of anger coming from the monster. That is why you will never go in the woods again, because you know the monster is waiting to finish what it started on that fateful day so many years ago. Be careful in the woods. You never know what's watching or if a random bird will be there to save you.
      Yes totally believable mhm yep.
      Sorry for the rant but thanks for not being that guy and keeping your story real. I appreciate it.

    When I heard story #2, I guess chasing after someone for a hour did not sound real. I know it was a minor detail but running hard core, ie sprinting, after someone for several minutes is draining even young and/ or in great shape. They didn't know why they were chasing her so they didn't even have adrenaline on their side. Anyways good stories and narration.

    I wonder if that girlfriend that Mia showed up with, the one the author recognized as the creature with the hole in its back, may be like what western culture knows as a succubus. Maybe the creature singled out a good-looking kid to stalk and draw off of her beauty, eventually coming to be her lover, where it would eventually finish sapping the life and beauty from her over time… because if that thing looked better when the author saw it next, who’s to say that isn’t the case?
    Idk, someone more schooled on the mythos tell me if I’m wrong, please.

    • @jessicadanna5206
