      I just recently found your channel here sir and I’ve been binge watching every since. Good stuff reminds me of when I was in high school and working with a friend of mine. Robbie Eades his family had a logging and firewood business. It was hard work but I loved it

    Yeah Ditto from me too on the time spent with your Dad. Miss mine heaps. As far as the old knuckle buster Cat Graders go... I've worked a few and I had a new wrist watch until the 2nd Day and I looked down to see the face had twisted around inside. Broke due to the hammering from those old dog clutches. They weren't bad in loose material, but darn shocking when trying turn the blade circle with any weight or cutting into hard ground. But good old girls and can't kill em. Take care Wade. Cheers From Australia

    Those are 2 nice Ford tractors. I worked at a Ford tractor dealership in the late 70's early 80's, I can safely say Ford made a good tractor.

    That Ford TW-20 is sweet ! Someone got a real nice tractor at the auction . I just noticed at 2:00 had 3875 hours on the tack and I reckon the red sticker on the dash 3972 is oil change time . My uncle bought a new TW-20 in 1979 . Remember it being delivered , like you say everything looked allot bigger back then ! I want to say it cost $24,000 but can't remember well ? Ask Big Daddy if that sounds close if you don't mind . Great video Wade !

    U can't beat the older ford tractor's. My uncle has tw10, 9700, 9000, 8000 2-6610 ,5610, 4610, and a 4630. I have a 4000. Were putting a clutch in the 9700 now. Have to do the same with the tw10 but it has no hydraulics. I sent u some pictures of how we tear tractor apart to fix them.

    My first experience in a blade, was an old piece of shit knuckle busting Cat. We decided to road it down a state hwy back to the shop. No brakes, with a twin stick in the sleet. It ran outta power and I accidentally found retreat. With a line of traffic and a school bus right on my ass. No crash tho. LOL

    Nearly sure 8360 was the 7.5 litre genesis engine. Tw range was a 6.6 litre Ford engine.My old man used to Drove a 1985 Ford TW-15 for the company he worked for,seemed like a great big 4wd in the early 90's now a toy. Same guy he worked for had a 8360 putting out over 200hp it pulled like a train but they had to chain some pipe on kept blowing it off think it was intercooler pipe real great engines

  • @zzirSnipzz1
    @zzirSnipzz1 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Only thing is the without modification the TW's only have 30km/h transmisson very slow over here we are getting into 50 and 60 km/h and the comfort of new tractors is awesome

My Pop & Great Uncle (Pop's Oldest brother that also a heavy equipment operator) Would tell stories for hours on end . Used to love hearing those two yammer on . Man I Miss that & them too . Clean & Nice looking R Model Mack. By looking @ the sticker on the valve cover it has A Pedigree Mack Engine Under the Hood (Rebuilt By Mack). Mack now Calls their Rebuilt Parts REMACK . Looks like An E6 300 .

Thanks man and yes the Mack is a E6 and I actually didn’t know that the pedigree was a Mack rebuild... we had a pedigree e6 300 in an other r model once and wondered what that mess was all about.. my first truck was an r model loved it 89 red r with a Mack 13 in it set at 350 hp and the no flex 44,000 springs it was a ruff riding jewel but I still loved it me and uncle Hermy used to race all the time I had better low end and he had better high end
