There are few games that match the atmosphere created by their soundtracks. Starcraft's music just put me in another place sometimes i'd load up the game as a kid just to listen to it.

I don't think that making zerg more neutral was bad turn, but turning Kerrigan into saviour of universe, especially after series of her war crimes in Brood War and WoL. And justification of her evil behaviour as result of corrupting influence of Dark God made her spineless and, well, not well written. Also, I think protoss didn't get enough attention or "screen time", especially in LotV. It's just funny to see that protoss are not getting enough consideration. Also, I think WoL still have dark and realistic themes of war.

But if so, then why Overmind's psionic emanations didn't harm terran and protoss? This creature described as powerful psionic zerg! At least they made great gameplay for this game
The end of Protoss Theme 1 gives of a foreboding feel compared to most others. Terran ones give a feel of badassery as in "Let's splat these slimy bastards and haughty sunbathers so their heads look nice in my cabin", the Zerg ones have a trippy and alien sound to them, befitting their nature, but this one exudes an aura that basically whispers "Our kind is in an existential endgame. Save thy Aiur before there's nothing left to save"

That’s so sick because in one of the Zerg themes, there’s a small bit that sounds kinda like Terran for a few seconds. Wonder if there’s a Protoss bit in Terran’s theme now.
Aside from the differences, I used to believe that the Protoss were The Elites of Halo... but now I think they are more like The Forerunners of Halo... and somehow Covenant and Human technology collects the knowledge of this superior race.

@@fedorsymkin2961 one maxed carrier with 8 interceptors actually make in the first hit 72 damage, then the damage delays a litle cause interceptors go to target other enemys , while a fully maxed BC makes around 30-35 damage per hit and it hits slower i think, so yeah carrier is like 12% better, cause of the damage delay when there ar more than 1 objective
How come SC2 is nowhere near this? This is classical music level....how come they could do this in 1998? If you are not tearing up then there is something wrong here...
I always loved the debriefing room music from Protoss. It made all the other species looking like pets or animals where you have council to decide what to do for their well being, since they obviously can't do it themselves.

Amazing crystal based technology and electronics. Similar to how Quartz watches are better, more durable, cheaper(due to low mechanical costs) and more accurate than purely mechanical ones due to the quartz crystal crystal energy emission they use for it .

Carrier Has Arrived! The second powerful unit in game after Terran Battlecruiser.
Terran BCs were outstandingly underwhelming to use. I'd take Carriers any day.

And the Yamato gun does not exist lol... Even without Yamato, the BCs could leave the carriers without any interceptors.
