True though! I witness a standard Chiron being moved off its display stand at the end of Goodwood Festival of Speed 2017.
There was roughly around 10-15 guys involved to make sure it wasn't damaged, they had the added ball ache of a tree stump roughly about 5ft in front of where the Chiron was disembarking the stand. The peer pressure of a massive crowd with their cameras out, pathetic little blocks of wood to lift the height of the splitter as it was moving off the stand. From start to finish it took them around 30 minutes to get it in a safe and flat position! Now I'm not trying to talk crap about it because it's an amazing piece of engineering, honestly though it was comical to watch!

it's not clear whether it can't be driven fast or it shouldn't be driven fast...the guy says it can't you're implying that because it's rare and so expensive it shouldn't be. I'm inclined to go with the former because this is after all a concept car for a video game. I don't think it was checked and rechecked, being put through stress tests like the production Chiron. I've seen the 250s GTO on the track and that costs much more than this thing.

KingOfShadows1500 my guess is that because it’s for racing the gearing in the back isn’t meant for good torque, the car is meant for speed so yeah.
Toasted Apple That doesn't make any sense! Torque comes with power and this car has the most powerful engine ever built for a car! Besides, acceleration requires torque and this car is supposed to be able to go from 0 to 60 in 2.2 seconds!
I'm sure the engine has a great deal of torque, certainly more than enough to climb a ramp at that angle, however the gearing is simply too high even in low gear to easily climb the incline from a dead stop. It would be like riding a multi speed bicycle and trying to start out in a higher gear. Even though your legs are just as strong in any gear, the lower gears make it easier. Well this car doesn't have low gears because it's a race car and needs it's power invested in higher gears in order to get as much speed as possible. Well it has lower gears but those gears are still pretty high compared to normal cars. Race cars used to have to be pushed by a push truck while starting out as they didn't have the ability to start themselves off with the gears so high. I believe some cars still do need push trucks. Gearing is everything. With low gearing my 13hp garden tractor can pull a large boat.

To the people complaining about not driving the car, you are missing 2 points. One, it is a one off model. Remember the Mazda Furai? That was driven quite a bit before it caught into flames. Two, it was created for Gran Turismo and Bugatti made it as authentic as possible in real life. You can use it and go as fast as possible in the game. That what it was ultimately built for.

The only issue I've seen is the lack of new design inspiration, by many of the high end auto makers. Much like most Bugatti, Austin, Porsche, and Koenigsegg modern auto models, each auto makers so called newer designs look a lot like the automakers previous models. Each auto makers has many models that look alike. They all are great at what they do, but, for the price tags, many want exclusive new designs, not last years model wrapped with some new carbon fiber parts. Lamborghini was in this rut, with the wedge shape, until they broke out with newer radical designs. Ferrari had many different models that are considered timeless and beautiful.
