I love seeing other engineers on here. If you’re considering it, it’s totally worth it! You’ll definitely be successful
what kind of engineer. software?
@@ghost_trapz5932 I’m a ChemE/BME but software is great if you like it. Pretty much any engineering discipline will be a huge boost and open many doors when you’re looking for jobs and careers. It’s challenging but very rewarding.
I have no doubt its worth it, problem is the STEEP learning curve of all the math and physics.
@@geddon436 Have faith in yourself! It’s a lot of work but it’s not impossible. If you spend the time on the work in college you’ll get to the other side
@@ryanc4955 not impossible, but, unless person REALLY enjoys it, I don't see them finishing it.
Senior software Engineer with a Huracan. That’s impressive.
Not really. We pay $250-$350k/year for those positions. He probably got a 10 year term and has a payment of $2500 or so. That's with a conservative down payment though. If he put $30k down, closer to $2300.
@@JoeJacksonGT3 this meant he lives in a box from fridge 😂
@@vadym8713 living normal for 2 years and he could buy that huracan outright.
Not really, in my country aside of gangsters and politicians only senior software engineers can afford such cars. Obviously depends on tech you work with like frontend js,react, etc senior will not earn that money but some more obscure backend language used in some old but unreplaceable stuff can easily afford to buy that Huracan just in 6-7 months.
@@wykydytron whats the obscure backend language u mean if u dont mind me asking, cuz im an aspiring SWE myself and im curious

The Lamborghini Huracán STO is not a racing car, it is a track car.
Track cars are cars with performance and a design that resembles racing cars, like that one but that are legal to drive on public roads.
I love watching Matt because he just is genuine. Enjoyed this one, mate.
6:06 the crayon eater blowing his money for a corvette lmao
I’m just playin’ btw, best of wishes to the man
What Matt does for a living: Being a car nerd! :)
Yep. Guess what, Chisato Nishikigi is also a car nerd.
@@purwantiallan5089 who?
Matt needs to be paid more money to get the right tan color interior in a GT3 RS!
Hey mat! Don't stop doing this, loved this video
As a German, i am really impressed, how many people with a "regular job" are owning such nice cars :) America is number 1... no questions.
Lovely to see all very nice, very humble self-made folk!
Also, we software engineers are really underpaid in the UK compared to our US counterparts (yes, even in the City!). I own a 2017 530d Touring 😁
I was surprised when he said Software Engineer myself. I remember my first job was £25k while the average salary for a develiroo driver is £33k, underpaid for sure.
Best car content creator 😊 all love from Canada
He’s like Daniel Mac. Asking people what they do for a living.
My thought, too
@@simsalb Exactly that. I wonder if he is going to be doing shorts just like him?
Zero points for orginality 😅
@@_Atomic_impactyes but instead of shorts, mat does it in a video
no shit
Imagine something happening to the owners Bugatti, and then being able to say "it's ok, I have a few more at home"
The people who can afford them can afford others.
Really entertaining episode. Apparently no playboy billionaire heirs in this event. An implicit presumption of Matt was that everyone interviewed purchased their car with money made from working or from running a business. Supposing the money to buy the supercar came from your über-rich family, when asked what you did for a living, answering "insurance" would sound quite neutral, rather than the not-so-flattering "I actually don't do anything for a living, the car was purchased with money from my family trustfund".
3:16 Bruhhhhhhhhhhh He looks like Micheal's Son : Jimmy from GTA V Lol😂
Proof that it pays to work smarter, not harder
Always bringing us good content.. Thank you Mathew 😂
Mat approved them all the way.
5:46 health and care. Drugs can be considered health and care, right?
Maybe it's organ trafficking
Yes true 😂
Nice change up from the regular videos. I like it.
Cool people each and every one of them. Had a stupid smile on my face from start to end.
4:38 That's why we love Mat !
11:30 , lmao a local guy in my town is a bit of a classic car guy, perhaps you heard of him Rob Myers, or RM Sothebys, I think my town is considered the classic car capital of Canada, we have some absolutely crazy classic cars here, definitely unmatched, I'm not even a classic car fan its just right now during the summer, it seems like everyone has a car from the 60-70s, and one more cool thing is we have the hoonie truck here, probably the coolest car in my town
How to afford a super car:
"Sell your fucking kidney":)
That NSX was as nice as any of the more modern cars
So you'll take it over the SVJ? (no selling them allowed, ever)
@@exnihilonihilfit6316 Maybe not NSX but there are older cars which are amazing as keeper. I would be happy to choose bentley continental GT 2006 over svj no selling, might even buy one in the future, love that car even tho its richer phaeton.
Smiled & laughed all the way through this video, cheers Mat! Mayonnaise Heir indeed hahahaha
This guy is a REALLY good interviewer, very sharp and entertaining.
2:10 lol at the guy saying he's just a software engineer. I'm also a software engineer making $153,000/year + $111,000/year in stock awards. I'm guessing the Silicon Valley company he works for has risen a lot in stock value that he's managed to make crazy amounts of money when he gets his stock awards. I was granted $400,000 in stock (paid out over 4 years) to about 6000 shares - so whenever I get my quarterly payout, the shares are of course worth way more if the company value has gone up. I assume it's what happened with this guy. At my income, I own a Convertible Corvette C8.
Still pretty good dude! 💪🏼
This is só interesting to me, I’ve always wondered what these types of owners do for work
Well thats interesting.
Bunch of these guys work in Ponzi schemes, atleast the insurance guys do. I’d rather make my money more honestly.
$40,000 millionaires and trust fund babies.
what do you mean
@@VingVingVing what?
“I work in the healthcare industry.” LOL! I shoulda used that when I was selling drugs as a teenager 😂
Props to the software engineer for enjoying his life!!
I love that you asked them about the specs !!
13:29 that yiann clip 😂 :D
2:40 That's what happens when you pay $200 for a shirt that costs $10 to make.
Why aren't you doing it, then?
There's a lot happening between production cost and final buyer.
Ask the same question in the UK - 9/10 times it’ll be people involved in organised crime.
bet you like to bibble in crime aswell with the old bob
I think some here don't tell the full story
Number of people paying in cash at dealerships and they get away with it. It's crazy.
Great idea, funny and interesting interviews 😍😂
Really cool vid, great that people get united being petrolheads and meet on such events!
Awesome video, hope you do more of these in the future
Harris will be there for long, after being kicked out of all media outlets he worked before. Now he's the boss there.
13:29, Lambo all day, every day. I loved this from Yani.
9:05
For a moment I thought he would say he owns a plumbing company
That Ferrari from the 60s easily wins it all.
Goodness Matt, you're so likable! And in very good shape too! Good on ya!
9:18, the sound of that V12, lord above!
HOW DID I MISS THIS BRO 😭
I literally live 15 minutes away from this c&c location and I go to it almost every week i feel so bad 💀
It seems cool. America looks cool online, have to visit.
8:49 😊someone who actually watches Carwow
Mat, come to Singapore and interview the owners. A Brand new A-Class A180 hatchback here costs SGD$236,888 or about £137,000 😂
Best part of the deal we only get to drive for 10years
One of THEE best carwow vids ever!!! Need to see more of these!
6:44 this guy's got the voice for finance in radio or TV
The tuner scene (JDM, Euro and even US/AUS) all know engine codes, power figures, gearboxes etc. Big difference.
If anyone is curious, the owner of the Hellbee owns Tilly's.
I'd love to see a world where Matt hosts top gear !!!
South oc cars and coffee baby. It’s almost like that every Saturday. Some Saturdays crazier cars show up 🔥
90% of Daniel Mac's audience on the other hand.
Daniel: "What do you do for a living?"
Driver: "OnlyFans/Sugardaddy"
No hate on Daniel, love him. Matt is awesome in this segment. You can see how relaxed people feel around him. Matt radiates positivity and comfort to be around.
Funnily enough when it’s not a young obnoxious teenager asking people, they seem way more responsive
2:50 just spit out my coffee
That h2r behind the white 911 would destroy everything there lol
