I live in the USA and I love my country. There are a lot of hunting opportunities here but I don’t believe as many as where you live I really think your channels would struggle over here. There are so many TH-camrs doing the same hunting stuff from the USA that gets old watching them. That is one reason I enjoy your channels

Problem is we’re not allowed to hunt very many species with air rifles here. Some states are much better than others but the majority kinda sucks as far as species availability.

There are some good hunting opportunities there, but you are right that we have more variety here in a smaller area. Much easier for me to create content. But buying more firearms would have been nice🥲

@@mattdubber are you limited on the number of firearms you own? I figured if you could by suppressors with out paper work you could have as many center fire rifles as u want

Bit late in the comments but I reckon the mits alloy flatbed tray setup would be great to see. I’m Australian and almost everyone runs a flatbed and canopy setup. I’m surprised it’s not more common overseas as they so versatile and strong. 👍🏻 love the channel.

I live in the States, after watching your other channel for many years and seeing how beautiful SA is and the adversity of wildlife you have, I couldn’t understand why you wanted to leave. Yes, the USA is beautiful also, we just don’t have the wildlife you enjoy. I think you made the right decision.

Definitely the place to be if you're earning Euros and provides you with so much more opportunity to do what you do! Looking forward to seeing more of your travels this year! Have a look at Paul Marsh 79 set-up. I got a similar set-up to that for my Isuzu. Maybe an Oztent could work? I also usually travel with two spare tyres (so it reduces weight on top) and also have space for your dog & escaping bad weather.

Great video as always Matt..I like where you’re going with the canopy upgrade as this makes so much more sense for the amount of travel and time u guys spend on the road..AHA camper comes to mind as an option, although Alucab makes a mean camper for the Hilux. Bushwakka has recently launched the Kamelback camper but not sure if they make it for the Hilux. These are just my personal views having researched for my own needs.

New setup !! How about keeping the Hilux and purchasing a 4x4 caravan to use as a “home base”. You can park it up and do 1 or 2 day trips. All the conveniences and luxuries you could want but you can un hitch and go “wild” if you want. ( plus the banks will finance one )

Two reasons: Firstly it will limit my ability to drive through really rough terrain, and secondly it is probably out of my budget.

I’m looking at one at the moment. The plan is to drive to Mana and spend 2 weeks, on the South Luangwa, lake Malawian ect. In Nam I’d probably leave it somewhere like Marble mine and then travel through the Marianfluss for a week then return to fetch it. If a trailer can be taken down van zyls pass ( Ed Bath & co ) rough trails shouldn’t be a problem.

Hi Matt. I went over to your other channel to check out the guns, and watched a video entitled: Deleting Geese with High-Velocity Bullets. I don't want to be funny, but is there a way for me to get the feathers from those geese from you? Can I contact you privately via discord or something? (Then we can discuss the terms). I am working on a project that needs feathers, and I just realized the geese feathers would be perfect!

Nice places in Oregon have skyrocketed in price because of California money all leaving that state because of high taxes.
