Rotec Radial R3600 Test September 2020

Test running of the Aussie made 150 hp 9 cylinder Rotec R3600 radial. This is the first of two engines to be tested and then sent to the USA. Both are to be installed on Hatz Classic Bi-planes.

Is there a reason radials an odd number of cylinders per bank? I don't think that I have seen a vid where there has been an even number unless it has multiple banks.
