By the way, and as a point of interest, have you looked at the new(?) cold welding TIG welders? Might be of interest, power TIG spot function, could be of interest in auto restoration(which is also my profession) If you´re interested check out HAGOBIJI on TH-cam. The TIG welder is from NSWELL, south Korea. Technology is always advancing, these welds penetrate very thin metal, 0.5 metal sheet onwards and no distortion or excess heat, I myself am waiting to see this in action, but it could make our work much easier. You do good work and You have a lot of experience and lotsa knowledge - it shows in your work. I´ll be watching keenly. Keep up the good work!

I will check that TIG welder from south Korea.... I am doing cold welding with my 20 year old Philips welder, i choose 100 Amps. ( with a Panel thickness of 0,75 mm ) and than touch verry short the start button. Most of the times it works ; ) Keep walking that cup, stay healthy...... ; )
Hi , thanks for watching, yes, that helps, i did not scribe the Patch from the inside, just to show how to make the paper template, and use the Marker the way i did to bring the shape to the Panel Patch. ; )

Does patching with round corners help , why not just scribe your metal patch from inside no need to make a paper template, as you had access
