Sold my ‘07 XLE V6 about 8 years ago when it hit 200k miles, it had few minor issues but I never did any maintenance other than oil changes. Never even a check engine light came on. Good cars!

I found a 2010 Camry LE with 185k miles for $6,000 or best offer, clean title. Sounds like a good deal? Looks really taken care of cosmetically, I can probably get it for $5,500

Incredible cars. Owned mine for nearly 3 years now and not a single issue. Currently sitting at 219000kms. They are no sports car but they just do everything well. Recently put a new set of Pirelli tyres on mine and it's certainly quietened the ride and handles better. Such a solid dependable car. 👌 And still good looking 10 years later!

I bought a used 2010 camry xle, 138,000 miles. Engine ran smooth, so I bought it. At the mileage it was at, I knew it was time for some things to start failing, so I expected it. After about a month, the water pump went out. I took to the opportunity to start replacing everything I could think of. New struts and spring kits, new ball joints, new sway bar links, new motor mounts, new coil packs, new spark plugs, etc. Suffice it to say, I feel like I have a brand new car. It runs like new. My hwy gas milage is averaging at 36.9. Impressive! I'm now a Toyota convert. Looking forward to many happy years and trips with this car.

Low miles. I have a 2010 2.5L i4 LE. It's got 188k miles now. I do run snow tires on steelies in the winter. This past summer I inherited the car. Needless to say I did a ton of work. The Camry has never missed an oil change. Done at 5K miles. But it's never required anything else. Nor has anything done. I changed the water pump to oem Aisen as it's dripping. I changed the coolant to fresh oem Toyota coolant. I changed the alternator also. All pulleys were making noise and I replaced all the pulleys and belts. I believe the salt destroyed it. I also replaced all 4 struts and springs. 2 springs were cracked from nyc as they were rusted. Also replaced engine mount and 2 control arms as the bushings were bad. I did all this work as I drive a lot. Safety and performance is very important to me. Most ppl would not do this as the car isn't worth very much.
My interior is in great shape. It's cloth no holes never smoked in. The car does have surface rust under the car as it was a New England car. But nothing crazy. Pretty good quality imo. The head liner is sagging up front by the sun visor. Honda's design is better in terms of headliner. These are great car. It's needed pretty much nothing besides usual brakes, paper filters, wipers, batteries. Nothing big. Cheap to maintain. Very good cars.
Yesterday I got all 4 snow tires rebalanced. As there was a slight vibration at 70-75mph. Now it's fixed. I did get an alignment last year. Mine has wind noise as well. I found cleaning and conditioning the window and all rubber seals with a quality rubber protectant helps esp during winter.

Hey man, I am a professional body repair and paint technician and I can tell you with 100% certainty that the cracking area you have is actually a failing body repair. That is what happens when moisture gets trapped underneath bondo filler or primer. I work at a dealer bodyshop and we do transport damage repair on brand new vehicles all the time. The customer is only notified of the repair if the damage is structural. So chances are, something damaged your vehicle before it was ever sold, and they repaired it before it was put on the lot.

I just got an 2010 xle v6. 193k miles. I can hear rattling coming from under the hood at idle and during acceleration, plus throttle response is strange: under any acceleration from a dead stop, there is a delay, and the car lunges forward, then hesitates to build rpms, but then it seems to build rpms normally after that. Based off what I've read, it sounds like a timing chain and some sensors need to be replaced.
I bought it bc I enjoy how fast the v6 camry is from the factory and how reliable they are. Plus it was the only thing I couldn't afford that didn't scream a word that rhymes with "spitbox" to me. I figured I'd get it, drive it sparingly, and fix it up as I go. The hood supports are dead, the driver side headlight bulb doesn't turn on (I think it's burnt out), and it has a wide variety of issues with it, but I believe in this car and I'd rather have spent the money on a reputable car I own outright than be stuck in a car loan on an almost-out-of-warranty 2021 Kia Sportage (it has 93k miles, 7k short of KIA's 100k warranty), that has a rear hatch so banged up that water can seep into the gap in the metal.
Any tips or help is appreciated. Thank you.

Definitely not true. It's the Camry's from 2007-2009 with the 2.4L engine that want to avoid. The 2010-2011 model years uses the 2.5L engine which doesn't have those issues. The V6 models are also fine. Overall all cars will burn some oil as they age esp when you hit 200k miles which has nothing to do with Toyota alone.

@@scottlanier5133 The oil consumption only effects years between 07-09. The car in this video is a 2010 model with a 2.5L engine. Completley different engine. All cars burn some oil as they age esp when you get up into the 200k mile range which normal for normal engine wear. I have 5th gen Camry that burns a little but not excessive. You can still buy a 6th gen Camry with 2.4L as long as the work has been done that corrected the problem. You just have to contact the dealer to confirm if the TSB has been done before buying.

So for now all my videos are on private because I can't risk losing my entire channel. It wasn't even my fault, I tried to contact TH-cam and they won't reply :(. My videos will be on private until June 5th when the copyright strike expires. But I can keep up my car reviews since nobody can copyright that. And don't worry!!
