It's a beautiful and reliable car but it is front wheel drive. If you enjoy a rear wheel drive more Then I would recommend getting a used Gs 350

I just got an 2010 xle v6. 193k miles. I can hear rattling coming from under the hood at idle and during acceleration, plus throttle response is strange: under any acceleration from a dead stop, there is a delay, and the car lunges forward, then hesitates to build rpms, but then it seems to build rpms normally after that. Based off what I've read, it sounds like a timing chain and some sensors need to be replaced. I bought it bc I enjoy how fast the v6 camry is from the factory and how reliable they are. Plus it was the only thing I couldn't afford that didn't scream a word that rhymes with "spitbox" to me. I figured I'd get it, drive it sparingly, and fix it up as I go. The hood supports are dead, the driver side headlight bulb doesn't turn on (I think it's burnt out), and it has a wide variety of issues with it, but I believe in this car and I'd rather have spent the money on a reputable car I own outright than be stuck in a car loan on an almost-out-of-warranty 2021 Kia Sportage (it has 93k miles, 7k short of KIA's 100k warranty), that has a rear hatch so banged up that water can seep into the gap in the metal. Any tips or help is appreciated. Thank you.

The only reason I got a 2015 Lexus GS 350 over an LS is that I found a GS 350 first. I really like it. It has 187k miles, but it still drives like a new car. I just made sure to inspect its properly and it had a good maintenance record. Even if it's a Lexus, you still have to get it inspected and make sure it was taken care of by the previous owner or owners. Lexus vehicles are simply amazing 👍. Good review. Subscribed

Have a 2010 Camry with almost 200 K miles. Daily commuter car. Owned for 6 years and have had power steering line fixed, muffler and 2 sets of brakes. Change my own oil and filter about every 6-8000 miles with full synthetic.

I understand that it is extremely expensive to repair an oil leak from the timing chain cover on this generation of Lexus/Toyota V6 engines. Can you comment?

Exterior CX-50 is better and interior CX-60 is better

To be honest, I like the older Toyota cars because they used to look like Lexus cars, especially the interior. They were more luxurious and had better features. The newer Toyota cars, however, have more modern styling and different features. I prefer the earlier models for their classic look.

Have you changed out the vvt-I oil line that everyone talks about being a potential problem on these cars? I just grabbed on in terrific condition with 97k Great Video!

Its ugly, and the new engines will NEVER be as bulletproof as the 1GR-FE. I'm so happy i pulled the trigger in 2022 and got one of the last gas guzzling dinosaurs. This thing will be rolling down the road LONG AFTER the new engines have bit the dust. (or you're paying insane amounts after warranty to keep them running).

I do not like the way it looks. Too boxy and the lights look lame.

That is a sweet looking Lexus you definitely cannot go wrong with Lexus and the reliability great car and great video

My gripes: • I have a 2015 and weigh 155 pounds. The driver seat back is hard, not cushy like I expected. • Infotainment/navigation is slow and annoying, including the robotic voice of the A.I. which responds to commands. Lexus navigation map hasn't been updated since 2018, it's now cloud based, so navigation is literally useless. Plus, it costs $250 to update to the 2018 map. • Crazily, there is no A/C button. You have to make 3 or 4 moves with the joystick to turn it on or off. • AM sounds like a transistor radio. It sounds old-fashioned, weak, and far away, even though they're local stations. AM in my basic 2004 and 2014 vehicles sound clear like FM stations, but not the ES for some reason. • Post 2015 model steering wheels look like a nice improvement on button placement vs the 2015. 2015 toggles are diagonal from one another, so I need to look down to ensure I'm manipulating the correct buttons. • I expected noticeable wind and road noise reduction from my other vehicles, but I don't. I bought it private party in 2023 with <26k miles. On the test drive I noticed the seat hardness immediately and the wind/road noise. The price was fair and the best car for the money after months of searching, so I bought it.

I drive to school a lot 134 miles on way and back a lot. Will this car be able to handle lots of driving ?
