Hello from England, I'm a 77 yr old guitar player, and to my old ears, that is the best acoustic guitar I've ever heard. Also the most beautiful. Thank you.
The way those stars of David look suspended and falling, morphing into 5-point stars in the flag is nothing short of pure art. I have done a fair amount of inlays, which I considered reasonably well-done, but I am truly humbled by this piece. Excellent!
What a stunning piece. Sadly I'll never be able to buy a guitar that nice. I bet that one is worth 9 or 10 thousand dollars!! Still gorgeous. Everything about it is amazing but the inlays blew my mind.
I can say from personal experience that it is an AMAZING guitar. The detail on the inlay is spot on, I'd put this up there with a 1933 Martin that I had the honor to play onetime.
Such strong tone with out being muddy. Mids and lows have very good articulation and highs sound clear and a bit bell like. Good balance. Beautiful guitar.
I thought Matt Chulka @ Eddie's guitars had the easiest job by getting his hands on the best sounding guitars in the universe and playing beautiful music . . . . . Well, you are right up there with luthier skills that make fine sounding guitars, and you both do excellent work!!! Make another with some of your Brazillian wood !!! Great work !!!!
The guitar is gorgeous, but the most impressive beauty of the guitar is the sound. There is no doubt that is one of the top five best sounding steel string acoustic guitars I have ever heard (based on your TH-cam recording played over my studio monitors, which does not necessarily directly translate to live sound but is highly correlated). I'm super impressed with both the looks and the sound. Congratulations, Chris!!!!
Absolutely beautiful guitar ! The sound was amazing, which I was listening through with a set of Bose speakers. I must say the low end was just spectacular and when coupled with the mid and high range of the strings was just sweetness to the ears ! Which can be said in reverse as well. Fantastic Job !!
would love to see more videos on inlay, I have built more than a few acoustics but never had the confidence to do intricate inlay work like you do. You are a real master at it, the best that I've ever seen to date. Every time you show off your inlay work I feel like less of a builder haha, it's a great testament to your hard work.
You make a beautiful (looks and sound) guitar! The wood and binding look and colors are amazing. I love how the inlays tells a story. That is a great aspect of your build. Love it!
Absolutely gorgeous! Love that African Blackwood, and it is so nice to hear that Ancient Sitka too. These last two videos have given me some great ideas for the acoustic that I will eventually order. Keep up the amazing work.
Wow. That is stunning. I’d be nervous to play it. Been playin 26 years so I’ve gotten better at not dinging my guitars. But eventually it’s gonna happen. She’s gorgeous. Great job!
cool man , I'm still waiting for 3,000 yrs guitar lol That series teaching me how to build guitar a lot... can't wait to see it again thanks Chris & Matt :)
This is the best sounding guitar that I’ve ever heard! And it’s drop dead gorgeous. Hopefully one day another log of similar wood will be found and also that I can afford a guitar of this caliber.
This guitar seems to speak with considerable authority without being overbearing, or hyped - if that makes any sense. Love it. I need to win the lottery. Magnificent! Glad I found your channel! Oh…and pretty good inlay work, too! 😁
GLORIOUS! I love the sound of the Walnut B&S, but this is a whole 'nother level. There is a shimmer to the highs, but the body shape and woods make it a cannon on the low end. The Bronze strings have you flirting with "too much of a good thing". Instead, this guitar seems quite comfortable living right on the edge. High Performance, indeed. Impressive. p.s. In the spirit of poking fun at snarky comments, will we ever see the Woodstock guitar get finished. ( Sorry, I couldn't help myself.)
First off, the guitar is just out of this world stunning! I happen to be of Jewish heritage having had my family emigrate to the states a while ago so I can really appreciate the inlay work…BUT WOW, that sound! The first thing I picked up on is the incredible sustain you get out of it. I don’t know if that’s the African Blackwood or the spruce (or both) but it sounds amazing! You know somebody who has spent the time and money in producing this instrument will surely take good care of the woods.
Hi Chris and Matt, I would love to hear your comments on different types of neck joints strength vs servicing. Ie, Butt Joint Bolt on vs mortise and tenon vs dovetail etc.
Hello from England, I'm a 77 yr old guitar player, and to my old ears, that is the best acoustic guitar I've ever heard. Also the most beautiful. Thank you.
Beautiful mixture of clear rumble and bell like high tones .
Geez dude that sounds AMAZING
That’s a killer fingerboard inlay. Damn!!
The way those stars of David look suspended and falling, morphing into 5-point stars in the flag is nothing short of pure art. I have done a fair amount of inlays, which I considered reasonably well-done, but I am truly humbled by this piece. Excellent!
I'm so glad you used some sand shading. That really took those inlays to the next level.
Absolutely unreal. Can’t wait to have you build my next guitar!
Incredible guitar brother! wow
That is absolutely the best sounding guitar I've ever heard , sparkling, transparent tone , with great articulation !
Unbelievable sound, it's so unique that it needs to be featured in a body of recordings.
Really beautiful guitar! I would love it with the volute by the back neck at the head stock.
Wow I actually teared up while you were describing the meaning behind this piece of art.
What a stunning piece. Sadly I'll never be able to buy a guitar that nice. I bet that one is worth 9 or 10 thousand dollars!! Still gorgeous. Everything about it is amazing but the inlays blew my mind.

That’s a hella nice guitar, Chris! Your inlays never fail to amaze me. Keep’em comin’, man!
You absolutely KILLED it on this guitar... The spinning, morphing 3d stars are captivating.
How it sounds and how it looks = I WANT THAT!!!!! Gorgeous tone, stunning build. A masterpiece of the luthier's art.
Such strong tone with out being muddy. Mids and lows have very good articulation and highs sound clear and a bit bell like. Good balance. Beautiful guitar.
Sounds great! I like hearing these different guitars. Makes me drool over having one.
That's the guitar to own and play! Sounds so rich in tone with distinct articulation! Just simply wonderful!
Complex yet simple... This is what I describe about the aesthetics and the sound of this amazing guitar
Amazing craftsmanship as always. Truly something to pass down for generations
I wouldn't even want to hold that thing for fear of damaging it! Your art is so much more than just an instrument. Stunning craftsmanship!
Another wonderful example of your fine craftsmanship. Thank you!
Listening this guitar makes you happy! Incredible! Being finnish and randomly got this video was a surprise right here!
Only one word to explain the sound of that guitar is Butter!! It sounds so smooth and articulate. Amazing build

Make another with some of your Brazillian wood !!! Great work !!!!
Such a well balanced voice, you can hear every note so clearly.
That is about the most awesome guitar I have ever seen! Beautiful!!

Absolutely amazing , what a beautiful sound out of a beautifully build guitar/ piece of art. Thank you for sharing your craft!

Absolutely beautiful!! What a piece of art! Thanks for sharing!
WOW! For a "new" guitar, that has not been played a lot yet, the sound is formidable. I love it. And the art on the neck just kills it
Sounds like Heaven! The resonance, the Enveloping Overtone Halo!!
absolutely best! inlays are incredible!
Wow sounds amazing. It is so nice when you play your guitars. Miss you and Matt performing that would be a nice addition again.
That inlay is beautiful and so thoughtful!
I’ve been waiting 3000 years for this video
Absolutely beautiful…both the way it sounds and its appearance. Nice work.
Fantastic design! Well done! Just a beautiful guitar!
Top notch.! Very articulate, great build!!
My god that’s a beautiful piece of artistry
You make a beautiful (looks and sound) guitar! The wood and binding look and colors are amazing. I love how the inlays tells a story. That is a great aspect of your build. Love it!
That sounds fantastic. Beautiful eye candy.I really like the color of the ancient sitca top.
Absolutely gorgeous! Love that African Blackwood, and it is so nice to hear that Ancient Sitka too. These last two videos have given me some great ideas for the acoustic that I will eventually order. Keep up the amazing work.
That's a beauty! Great tone. Nice work!
personally, I like much simpler appointments than the driftwood style, but sound-wise, holy CRAP that's a nice sounding guitar. excellent work
Wow. That is stunning. I’d be nervous to play it. Been playin 26 years so I’ve gotten better at not dinging my guitars. But eventually it’s gonna happen. She’s gorgeous. Great job!

This guitar seems to speak with considerable authority without being overbearing, or hyped - if that makes any sense. Love it. I need to win the lottery. Magnificent! Glad I found your channel! Oh…and pretty good inlay work, too! 😁
I'm not into Bling but that sound is awesome, very nicely crafted. 10 out of 10!
Magnificent build! Please do a comparison between this and the other when you finish building it. Would love to hear these side by side. Beautiful!!

i mean it sounds great; looks unreal.
If you sing with your guitar playing you definitely want a little bit of scoop to mids, IMO. Such a beautiful guitar!
This is a fantastic series!
Very cool inlay concept. Well done.

Absolutely Amazing
Amazing guitar, Chris!
Fantastic sounding guitar
Stunning instrument!
Sacred fecals son, that gitfiddle rings like a bell.
Oh, and it looks as good as it sounds.
Muito aparatosa a guitarra. O som vem da qualidade da construção e não de tantos floreados.
Hi Chris and Matt, I would love to hear your comments on different types of neck joints strength vs servicing. Ie, Butt Joint Bolt on vs mortise and tenon vs dovetail etc.
It would be awesome to have that fretboard inlay on a guitar with tonewoods from New York and France.
Wow- gorgeous.
That’s sick!🙌👍👍
Sonic clarity!
