I’m deeply upset about this game shutting down! It was my favorite mobile game. I’ve spent hundreds on the game since it was released in the USA and I’ve played everyday and my spell book is at 116 right now. All that money and time I spent on the game is down the drain 😭
We both are crying. i spent 900 usd on the game. So much effort for nothing
I got a refund! Android, used the words: "The game is being shutdown, and the item cannot be used in game anymore"

Which payments did you get a refund for? Just the most recent ones, like the past month, or past three months? Thank you!

How did you do that, please? They only give me 1 option for the latest purchase and I couldn't write the reason myself but choose within those listed

First of 4 transactions was only one refunded. 3 others rejected. :/
I'm afraid that if you're not US- or EU-based, the chances for refunds are low. I'm from Mexico, and I asked Google to refund my recent purchases on the reasoning that the game gave every indication that it would last longer. Most of my purchases were made under the expectation that the game would last longer than 2 years, so those resources were used with the intention of INVESTING on my account and making it GROW. If the game has no future, the purchases were meaningless.
But sadly, Google denied my refund claims. It was a long shot, I know. But I just wanted to give WB one last middle-finger.
US won’t give us shit lmao they’d probably laugh at us
I got refunded for everything by Google. I'm in the UK. I wrote my method in the comments under this video.

I'm so mad, bcs I've submited requet for money refund via apple and it has been declined. This is sooo wrong what happened with all of this sh*t
I submitted and will luk outcome. My opinion was that the game shut down with no warning and fraudulently inducing players to continue to pay with the expectation of the new events that the game promised were ongoing and would continue.

I am considering joining the Netease server, can I do that from a mobile phone in the US? I have seen some people say it will be in a different language with no English option, is that true?
I'm playing NE version right now and so far everything is in English, even set my country in NE account making as UK and game showed me the enrollment pack in £s, so everything has been seamless so far (apart from starting again)
Netease servers have support by English except TW & CN server.

Need an honest answer here as I am hesitant about switching and seeking out a full refund (or even partial would be considerably nice). How long did it take for you to get a refund when you reported it, assuming you guys are successful.

Some players replied that it refunds immediately on Android, and others said they've refunded in other games on IOS before, so these should work!
