So many beautiful things 🤩. I would be keeping the cookie jar too 🤣 stunning! Love the fairy houses and mushrooms. The big plates/platters are fabulous too. So glad the cake stand with pumpkins on it came out perfect in refire. 🎉. Hope you come home with nothing but money in your pockets from the show 🤞🏻.
I so enjoy your videos and tutorials. Your pieces are extraordinary. I am not doing so much pottery, because I am terrible at painting them. But, I still enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing.
Your kiln openings are so joyful and positive, I watch them in the morning with a coffee to start my day and it’s the perfect start! Good luck to you all at your fair, looking forward to seeing your set up xxx
ok...you're still an amazing pottery machine but, I feel much better knowing that many of your pieces are from 2021/22, lol...so darling are those fairy houses!! The Autumn purple and pearl white...Love that combo! I am obsessed with Autumn Purple and I've used it with pearl white but in combo with many glazes at once! I really like just the 2 together and the 2 fairy mushroom houses are wonderful and oh my gosh, so many cute things that I can't decide on a favorite. Great idea on the price tags!
I love that frosted mint on the Terra Red apple dish! Too bad about the crack. But the refire on the pumpkin platter turned out great! Those price signs are a great idea, and would work well as table place markers as well...maybe slightly smaller. And FYI, if the glaze isn't crazed, you can also use a sharpie. It cleans off with Lysol on a glass or acrylic surface. The platters are beautiful. Have fun at the fair!
OK, so its Saturday morning and you are making my brain explode....I want to make EVERYTHING you have in your kiln! I'll be getting my hands in clay from today until next-forever (just made that analogy up) You are amazing with your inspiration, talent, creativity....just everything you do is AWESOME Thank You!
So many beauties in this opening….oh and those mushrooms though, ❤❤❤!!! Annnnd the pumpkin cake plate! I loved so much, I wish I could be a patron at your sale!!! No need to wish you good vibes or luck, you have a great deal of wonderful items 😊😊😊
gorgeous mushies!!! love your glaze choices for them...they will sell like wildfire!! I have to get ready for work now, so will have to watch the rest later!! Can't wait, your kiln openings are so fun😁
I'm late to the party on the plates on posts discussion, but why not fire them flat on a shelf? What an amazing kilnload of color! The glazes came out fantastically!
Nice kiln load! Gorgeous glaze colors, too. I love the intricate fairy houses and am very curious how you applied the the Rose Quartz glaze. I can’t get mine to look like that. I hope you have a wonderful show. I wish I was there. 🙂
I have never seen those apples you make. What's you do or use them for. So pretty. Love ❤ ❤❤❤❤❤❤ those mushrooms, even the tilted ones. Good stuff. Hope hubby is improving, mine not so much. Better or worse right!!!*😂
Better or worse is right. Sorry about your hubby. I hope we both see better soon. The apple bakers are for putting a cored apple on the post, filling it with sugar, cinnamon, butter, and baking it. I plan to try some soon.
Unfortunately we don't have square posts in England don't know why good luck with show I am also getting ready for a show I am doing the battle of Hastings selling my pots❤
Good luck to you and your students!!! Hope you sell all your items!!!! Love the mushrooms!!!❤❤❤ Please have a tutorial 🙏 on the Apple Bakers!!! 😮😮😮 Does the black velvet underglaze on the owl, (I am assuming it is Amaco)come out like a satin finish or am i seeing things? What temperature was it fired at? Very Cool!!! Sandi
It was a cone 6. Yes, that black Velvet is gorgeous without glaze. Not food safe, so when I do it, I make sure it's on something someone won't be eating off of. I do it a lot on witches, too.
Love watching your videos. I've been making fairy houses at a local studio here in the UK. How to you colour them after bisque? Do you use underglazes plus transparent glaze or do you use just colour glaze?
Very lovely pieces ❤. I have a question about the cake stand? How do you avoid sagging around the rim? I have now seen a couple of cake plates at our community center where the rims are sadly sagging quite a bit. Love your videos.
The base needs to be wide enough where it attaches to help avoid that. Clay with grog helps, too. Though mine was bmix. I think fluting the rim helped.
Ok so in the dinosaur plates she did the black underglaze and then colored glaze over the top???? And it doesn’t cover the black??? I have a piece I’m wanting to do that in but not sure how. If you could explain that I would be ever so grateful 😊. Have a great show!
@hobblecreekpottery2921 I was hoping to buy nebula from clayscapes but it's not even listed. What other ones are your favorites from them on terra red?
@@roadmap5351 Arctic blue is my absolute favorite in the Terra red. That's a bummer about Nebula. I know they have been having trouble getting raw materials. All the good stuff is going to tech.
@hobblecreekpottery2921 what do you think of shadow blue? I'm thinking of buying 10 lbs of dry glaze, maybe of coastal and artic, then maybe 5 of shadow...would you change that at all?
❤️those platters!! Everything else too😊
Wanderful
So cute! Just adorable!
Omg that kiln packing is next level. Lol. Love your videos. Thanks for sharing !
Lol, love the challenge of packing a kiln. Your results on both openings this week were awesome!
I so love your videos! Thank you for the inspiration.
Love, Love, Love. Best of luck at your show.
Love the mushrooms done.
I love that your kilns are named after WILLOW characters ❤
Lol, I love that you got that. When I eventually get a small tester kiln, I'll name it Willow.
Love every one of them❤
you are so creative. thank you for sharing

Thank you. Yes, glazing is a learning curve on its own.
Your husky is so cute. We have a husky Malamute who loves spending time with me in my studio in the basement. I love the fairy houses.
Thank you. Rinka is a husky/malamute and Casstille is full Siberian husky. They make life sooo enjoyable.
The fairy houses are just amazing.
Love the fairy houses!! 😊

Ahh, thank you!
Great kiln opening. Good luck with your show. Bummer about the cookie jar. That was gorgeous.
Not a bummer for my daughter-in-law. I asked her if she wanted it and she's thrilled. So it's a win.
@@hobblecreekpottery It's a wonderful cookie jar I'm sure she will enjoy it.
An entire kiln of treasures!

So many lovely items. Cant wait to see your film of the show and let us know how you got on with your ceramic price tags! Good Luck at your show xx.

Great kiln! I have just started useing spectrum glazes and loving them and the price Autum purple is my fav. Good luck with the sale
It's quickly becoming my favorite too. It's just so pretty. Love their prices. I hope they stay that way.
Don't beat up your pots when the lids are stuck! Freeze 'em. Put them in the freezer overnight. The stuck lids will come off a lot easier.♥
I'm late to the party on the plates on posts discussion, but why not fire them flat on a shelf? What an amazing kilnload of color! The glazes came out fantastically!
It just came down to me trying to fit in as much as I can.

I brushed 2 heavy coats of the rose quartz and fired to a cone 6. It surprised me how beautiful it turned out.
@@hobblecreekpottery Thank you so much. I’ll give it another try.
Everything looked beautiful. It was so hard to watch you take the cookie jar lid off😅
Sooo stressful!
Hello! Your work is amazing. I'm especially curious if you'd be willing to share how you price your fairy houses? I Imagine they take hours!

She uses the black Velvet underglaze from Amaco and then covers them with Amaco celadons.
How much is apple? Bowl?
Do you still have zee 🍎 ?
Owls are cute but the beak is way too big. Name them Jimmy Durante. Very cute though. Glazes are awesome.
Hi, this is Jamie again, have you found any colors that don't work well on terra red? I've got mostly Amaco, Mayco, and a few spectrum glazes
Celadons don't, and some light colors because the Terra red is so dark. I've mostly used Clayscapes glazes on the Terra red and they all work.
Coastal blue is a winner on everything.
