    What a very fun kiln opening! Everything is so creative and beautiful and you did great on the surgery. I may now not be so scared to use my dremel.

      Phew that operation was stressful. I was sure the fairy wasn't going to survive. Thank you for your kind comments, and I have many more videos planned. 😀

    I agree with you that we lose days and years, I absolutely love your videos. I do not know if you go back over your videos or not. I feel that some who re-watch would then make a comment on how your videos help them. I re-watch all of the time , just to refresh my memory. I watched a fairy house tutorial three times and I picked up things that I did not see.

    Hi, I love how everything turned out. The fairy houses, the fairies, the gnomes, especially the mulberry colour, just everything. I hope you're feeling heaps better now. I'm just a hobby potter, and not part of any group so I'm soaking everything up like a sponge. Happy Thanksgiving.

    Hi Tiffinie! Awesome load. The angels and fairies are adorable! I'm glad that you put the arms on those fairies. And the angels will look great with luster. Those gnomes are always causing trouble, right?!
    I almost always make a blood sacrifice to the kiln gods. Not on purpose, mind you, and you'd think I would learn, but no. But maybe that's what saved the day for your oops!
    Love the mugs with the trees on them. The handles are great. They look comfortable to hold. Referring to the ones in the middle, of course.
    I'm so glad you're recuperating well from the surgery. Hopefully the cold will leave your family before the holiday. Have a fabulous Thanksgiving!

      Ahh, thank you sooo much. Yes, you'd think of learn after all these years unloading kilns to be more careful. But I routinely cut myself on slips or sharp bits of glaze all the time. If it takes a little blood sacrifice to appease the kiln gods, so be it. Thank you for your lovely comments and for watching. Happy Thanksgiving!

    Try a jewelers saw; easy to purchase; easy to get in tiny spaces. Love your work. Blessings.

    A-do-ra-ble!!!! And what a great save! I bet the fairy and gnome are best friends now. 🙂 Glad to see you up and about, take care of yourself!

      Thank you! Phew, so relieved I separated those two. I was already planning on busting the fairy to bits to get her away from the gnome. Really glad it didn't come to that.

    Wow! Love the fairy houses 😍 how much do you sell them for? I looked on your Etsy shop but couldn't see them.

    • @hobblecreekpottery
      @hobblecreekpottery  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't sell them for the time I have in them. They start at 65 and go up. I make them because I love them. ❤️

    Oh my gosh what beautiful pots! As always!! Girllll I saw you use that hack saw and was in shock! I was yelling at you to just knock the fairy off and then you did! Lol What part do you use to grind with your dremel?

    • @hobblecreekpottery
      @hobblecreekpottery  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lol, man, knocking that fairy off was stressful! I use a cheap Dremal from Harbor Frieght and then diamond bits that fit the Dremal. It's been a great tool for like $25.

    Such a great kiln opening ! If you don’t mind sharing , who manufactures the red Sedona clay body ? I love your videos.

    • @hobblecreekpottery
      @hobblecreekpottery  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you. The clay is manufactured by Aardvark.

    I ran a test on the black clay and Blue hydrangea and celadon bloom worked well for me. Marigold looked like baby poo. 😅😅

    • @hobblecreekpottery
      @hobblecreekpottery  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Love the black clay, but finding a good glaze over is tough. The Firebrick and Jess's Chun blue both worked for me, but as of yet, everything else looks like poo for me as well.

    What clear glaze do you use? Does it craze?

    • @hobblecreekpottery
      @hobblecreekpottery  ปีที่แล้ว

      I use one that I mix myself. But Amaco's zinc free clear is a great clear that won't craze on you.
