OMG, such beautiful pieces! Be proud of your students and yourself! And NO my dear, your life is not over with this surgery! You are granted a pause in life, 'bend the knees' and surrender. Relax into it, you will come out of this as superwoman!!! I so love your vibe and energy, no doubt in my mind! I so wish I could visit you this weekend, I would buy that dragon eye flask and a cauldron mug in a heartbeat! I will be sending you good vibes and in the meantime have fun this weekend! Love, monique
Thanks for all your videos and your passion for pottery that we can feel through them. I would love a video on all your glaze's technics. That would be great ! Thanks again ! Hi from France
You have so many creative minds that there is absolutely something for everyone! There isn’t a single piece that I don’t like or love!!!! The piece that you said you failed on and didn’t glaze the stem, what glazes did you use please?? I pray your surgery went well, whatever it was for! I have to have surgery as well and I won’t be able to do clay for months and I just can’t imagine that!!!
All great, and some absolutely stunning! I love the cauldron mugs particularly. I'd love to see a dragon eye flask class! What latex resist do you use?
Good luck with surgery. Brilliant brilliant kiln opening. That red with coastal is stunning! I've got some coastal so better get the clay. Is just called Terra red? Thanks for sharing as always. Btw, got the knomie rolling pin from Sharon hoppe designs here in the UK. Thrilled! 😁🥰
That one glaze that you were holding at 19:40 minutes. Would be cool if you did like a gourd* shape instead of a pumpkin!! * Not sure if I spelled it right. 🤷
Best wishes on your surgery!!! You'll be back in no time! I do want to ask, on your witches video, you showed the two that you used Duncan glaze - that is no longer available, they had such a lustrous brilliant shine. Is that the glaze, or was that a clear coat that gave it that luster? Could you please elaborate more on that for me. I loved how those two had that shine. I have made a few of your witches and kept them with just a Velvet underglaze, no clear coat and I really love the antique look they have. But I really would love to have one for me using that shiny finish. I so enjoy watching you, I've said this before...and I'll say it again. I wish I could be a student in your classes, you make things super easy to follow and create such fun items!!! Thank you for all the great info you've offer to us beginners!
@@hobblecreekpotterythank you for your reply! Is that the tiny bottle of luster(s)? If so do you place just one coat on top of your top coat glaze, or mix some into the final clear coat?
@@lisabroussardjanuska7681 It is and you swirl it on with a brush. Small circles all over the piece. Wear a mask and don't do it inside the house. I believe Jessica Putman Phillips has a video on how to mother of pearl luster. Good luck. I'd love to see them when their finished.
ok, I've lost some time, and definitely lost hearing/knowing that you're going to have surgery! Hope it is nothing too serious....please stay strong and keep the faith that all will turn out great! Hope to see your videos again SOON! If you can, just drop all your fans *(definitely me included) to say that you are OK.!
