Anthony!!! I do appreciate you showing us this amazing landscape but PLEASE PLEASE be careful 😢 I love you so much ❤
Love you too!
Tony...please consult your physician for a referral for gait evaluation when you get back. It can detect underlying disease and point out weak muscle groups.
@@LaLidoLoca you know you are in trouble when your better half calls you by your FULL name ;-)
The ocean is so intensely blue Definitely a bucket list tour
If this was chutes and ladders he would ended up at the bottom of the stairs and had to start all over again.
The siren goes off periodically. It's when the native Morlocks come out of the caves around town and capture some of you tourist "Eloi," and take you back to their caves. The tourist brochures say that their the lucky chosen Eloi are the guests of honor at a huge feast. Then it says you are given pocket fulls of gold and sent back to your ship.😮
Tony, please be careful. Both you and Don are national treasures and we can’t have have anything happen to you.
Right! I watch both of the their videos.
Everyone watching fell with you. Hope you are ok and wishing you well!
I am on this cruise, thought I saw Don in Quqortoq at supermarket , obviously I did. No problems with water shuttles going into port if elite, but we have to wait just like everyone else when returning to ship
The siren may be warning residents that a cruise ship is in port.(ha ha)
I'll tumble for ya, I'll tumble for YOU! Shout out Ludacris!
Note to self…take an umbrella on your Greenland cruise next year!! And book an early morning excursion!
Thank god for Don. We all need someone to help us when we fall. I would have helped but been laughing at the same time. One day, karma will strike me hard. Glad you’re ok. Please be careful
Upsetting that you fell... glad that no serious damage was done. I so much enjoy being included in your explorations and excursions. Thanks for taking us along! May you remain upright and joyful !
When the siren was sounding off you and Don should have started running and screaming RUN FOR YOUR LIFE..... LOL
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'm glad I'm not the only one that falls everywhere. Thank you for showing us that amazing town. Its absolutely gorgeous!
I fall a lot too! I don’t watch where lm walking!!!
If I could go again I would take the guided walking tour. It would be wonderful to hear about this remote area from a local.
My husband and I never need to go to Iceland or Greenland, now. Thank you. Seriously.
Oh man, I felt sympathy pain when you went down!
We took a student led walking tour. The weathe was perfect and the young man was very interesting, Most the residrnts were out enjoying the day, it was August.
Stone steps in the rain are the worst! Glad you popped up quick and were rewarded with a great view. Stay safe out there!
You always show the best, on the cruise destinations
Looks like you are ok Tony, glad it wasn't more serious. Be careful with Don! He's trouble! 😂
Greenland was amazing! We did the iceberg tour and a "native" food tasting. It is so fun seeing the sights again through your video! I loved that trip! The tender process was such a pain!
So sorry about your your fall. Hope everything is OK moving forward
Ouch!! Hope you’re okay! Can’t believe how early people were going back to the ship! Looks like a charming place.
I would have been so stressed out seeing that line to get back to the ship, I probably would’ve just gotten straight in line. Glad you’re ok. Thanks for taking us along. My cruise life is probably going to only happen thru you tube.
You know you're in trouble when you are called by your full first name! He's fine Jenny, at least for us TH-camrs he appeasr fine. Perhaps the next video we will see what bounty was found in the grocery store and just how long Tony and Don waited in the queue. Glad you lived to tell the tale, Tony.
Hope your ok be careful Tony
Man Down. Thanks for keeping us up to date with everything going on in Baa-Roozing. (Bruising). You shook it off very well. Carry on.
Lol. Too cute!
I don't go out in these places without my walking poles - they keep m steady on unsteady ground
Glad you are ok. When I saw the headline I was worried. You are resilient!
I hope you ok, I enjoy the excursions and the commentary
Love that view of that Caribbean Princess beauty sitting out between the houses. Glad you were not hurt. I won’t tell, ha. . Thanks for another beautiful video.
My, what a gloomy day! Looks like a perfect time to stay on the luxurious warm and dry ship! Take care Tony, hope no major injuries. We always appreciate your tours!
I hope you are ok and don't get too sore for tomorrow's adventures. I have done that before and it bruises the ego most. Be Careful young man. I would also like to add, You seem to be getting around much better than last summer. Congrats on that!
I know how you feel, I was doing an cruise excursion in New Zealand to the Moeraki Rocks on the beach and due to rain the wooden steps to the beach was wet and muddy and extremely slippery and me and many others went down. Was not hurt but my pride but was all wet and muddy. My wife refused to go down after seeing my fall and everyone after me go down.
Wow. I'm heading to Greenland on the Emerald Princess (17-day cruise) out of Boston in 2 days. I have nothing booked either. Thanks for the peak.
Absolutely loving watching your cruise adventure we're doing that itinerary next year. Really hope you didn't hurt yourself Tony.😢
Who else can say they have fallen in several different countries but you. So glad you are not hurt and thank you for the amazing video.
You need to go back to all the places you fell and leave memorial signs..."Tony B. fell here"
Hope you are okay after that!!
I just came back last Saturday from my Third Expedition Cruise to Greenland. After seeing the huge lineups to get on the tender, I am so happy that I only take Expedition cruises on small ships. On my ship there were 138 passengers and 40 Expedition staff, so it only take a little over 40 minutes for all the passengers to get to shore by zodiac *which hold 10 passengers each". And never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get a zodiac to get us back to the ship. By the way, Nanortalik means "Place of the Polar Bears". We always had polar bear guards with us on the Greenland excursions, and were told if you heard alarms ringing, it meant that a guard saw a polar bear come too close, and we should make our way IMMEDIATELY to the zodiacs to go back to the ship.
Tony many of us are not as young as we used to be so we still want to do everything when we travel. Glad Don was with you if you had experienced a worse falling situation.
Excited to see the Greenland ports I never made it to.
Hello Tony, glad to see you are having a good time, be careful walking, falling is not fun!
I think Don needs to learn first aid and CPR to take care of you. Stay safe. I’m glad your alright 🤗
Take care out there safe travels to you and Don love the shows 🎉
Hope you weren’t too sore the next day, Tony. Thanks for letting us tag along!🥰💋
Thanks a lot, Tony for taking us with you on your walk! And thank Don too these have been very entertaining thank you. I hope you had a good time.❤🛳️🦩⚓️
Thank you for sharing your trip and adventures. I’m so enjoying your videos. Please be careful. You may want to get one of those collapsing hiking/walking sticks. It makes a huge difference when exploring uneven trails, wet, slippery conditions, etc.
I’ve started taking one along when I travel in case it is needed so that I don’t miss any paths, streets, trails that may be a bit more challenging for me. Stay safe and be well!
OMG , my heart! Tony so sorry you fell…hoping there is no after affects, its usually the next day you feel it. Scalping water shuttle tickets…😂love it.. Thx Tony and take care🚢🙂
Ouch! Stay well and safe!!!
Omg Tony, glad you're ok, Mum's the word.
I'm happy you're OK ❤ always worth making the best of the port tfs
OH MY GOSH! TONY! Glad you're ok!
You have the same problem I do. My wife explained to my Dr. that I fall because I’m top heavy. I got a trekking stick and it has helped me a lot .
If you gotta fall, that’s the way to do it. Imagine the conversation. Tony, what happened? I fell. Where? Greenland.
Sorry you fell Tony. You got right back up and carried on. You are a trooper. That scenery is beautiful. Thank you for sharing. Safe travels. 😊
Thank you for sharing your adventures. Hope you are ok; glad that your good friend Don is there with you.
I’m so thankful you are okay 🙏
Tony B., please be more careful! Jimmy Buffet has a song line" crack went my leg like the shell of an egg.........them brittle bones don't bend" shout our Luda.....
So glad no damage done. Please watch your step. What a stunning place.
MAN DOWN! Might need to look into walking sticks LOL. They do help. Anyway, nice to see this part of the world Thx for taking us!!! 🐧🐧
I usually read the intro to your vlogs but didn't this time and when you fell, I yelled "Oh no!!!". I'm so glad you're okay! Greenland is beautiful even in the rain. Thank you for sharing your adventure
Glad you're okay. Thanks for sharing.
be careful - vlogging while walking on wet / uneven pavement is a recipe for disaster! Glad you popped right up and seemed ok.
Tony, it looks like your fall wasn’t bad. Thank heavens. I fell on a path to see hexagonal basalt columns and a sort of cave, on the Iceland coast, and the volcanic gravel ripped up the fabric of my pants and cut my knee pretty badly. My guide had to get out her first aid kit and my walking was screwed up for the rest of the trip (which included Greenland.) I’m so glad you and Don got here, though. It’s amazing.
Hope you’ll be okay! Let’s be careful out there! Thanks for this incredible tour. You’re the best!
Please be careful Tony !!! Your Loca Fam ❤❤ you more than your videos !! So glad you are ok, but take it easy tomorrow for sure !! Love seeing these amazing sites, you always do a bang up job of showing us around, but please take care of you !! Listen to the lovely Jenny B 😊
I really love seeing 👀 Greenland so far can't wait to see more. I hope your ok after your fall. ❤️ l9ves
We were in that port last year and had the same issue with only a few tours and all were full. It’s a small remote town with not much to see but it was fascinating!
Hi Tony 😊 thank you for sharing, always love your videos!!❤
Boy that looked chaotic getting off the ship.
That siren note sounds like the beginning of Barber’s Adagio for Strings.
Tony, I just saw this video. I'm so glad your ok. You go through alot to give us great content. You are appreciated!
Happy Friday Tony.
I hope there are no major bruises because of said fall.
Hope your sea day is going smoothly for you today. ⛴⛴
I subscribe to both yours & Don's channels but you two gentlemen together are a pleasure!! Safe & joyful travels to you both!
The cafe at the top of the hill in Qaqortoq is Cafe Heidi. My wife and I ate there last fall. Best fish and chips I have ever had in my 66 years on this planet. You were that close to heaven! Oh, and they actualy had Pepsi zero sugar, Bonus!
Oh my! I hope you're ok!! It was raining there last year when I went too, I noticed they added some new things since my trip :)
Sorry you fell, that really sucks. 😢 Glad you're doing ok. I've really enjoyed watching along with this series. Counting days now, just booked NCL Pearl for Transatlantic in November. Be well.
I love the spontaneous sining!
Thanks for the Greenland tour. I will be cruising to Greenland out of Maryland about this time next year and this was very helpful.
Great control of often uncontrollable utterances when unexpected falls occur!
It’s ever time you sail from Southampton, that you fall 😂
Glad you’re ok.
My husband and I are looking at the Boston round trip to Rotterdam and back with stops in Norway, Iceland, Ireland, Greenland and Canada. The culture there looks a lot like what we saw in rural Alaska, too- even down to the place names and spelling. Makes me wonder if the Greenland natives speak a language like Yup'ik, or if that style of art is wider-spread than I knew. Thanks for the update, and hope you're okay.
Tony, you crack me up! I'm laugh snorting at you trying to sell Don a ticket. LOL
you guys are so cute together, love the video. glad you are ok
I’m so terribly sorry! Hope you OK and not too stiff and beat up.
I absolutely love all your Crusie adventures! I’m sorry you fell I hope you’re ok! I leave on the Jubilee next month, so excited!
when I read the title I was on edge the whole video. Glad you're okay! I really enjoyed this series. Shoutout Ludacris!
Thank goodness you are okay Tony! I had a big fall on Santorini and it was not so good. 🥺 Loving these videos so much. So interesting to see these parts of the world. 😎
That was scary Tony! I’m glad you and the camera made it!
My friend is a tour guide in Qaqortoq. She does walking tours of the town
Ooof! I’m so glad you didn’t get too hurt.
Don looks like a professional tourist LOL
Omg- I hope you’re ok Tony xo
I’m so glad you got a chance to visit Greenland Good coffee shop on the hill enjoy your day
Saw the tannery and the whalers come in and they let us try a slice of raw whale surprisingly good. We lucked out students offered tours of town for donation great fun
that path with those stones...no rails...wet...You are lucky you were okay. It must be a challenge to film and talk and walk when on such hazardous terrain. Thanks for taking us as usual
Another great video Tony! Please, please be careful! 😊🤗
few possible reasons for the siren in Greenland
1. *(you kind of mentioned it) when a large section of ice is released, some towns nearer to the glacier might get a Tsunami warning just in case (with most, it kind of effects you only if you are very near the water, like do not stand on the beach if it sounds)
2. the siren is from the local fish factory, a warning when a heavy cargo palette is being transported over the docking area/car-park... again telling people to keep out of a certain area.
3. in some towns the general alarm is sounded for exactly 60 seconds to mark midday (or another pre-determined hour)... this is what your case sounded like to me.
4. obviously, towns that have bases also can sound Air-Raid sirens if say Russian airplanes are spotted... this does occasionally happen in North-East Greenland, because you get these "NATO trolling-missions" from squadrons based on Taimyr and Novaya-Zemlya.
Hey Tony,
Hope you did not get hurt when you fell. I left a comment on Don's channel, when you guys were taking about excursions in Greenland. The costs of excursions are getting out of hand. I know you take a lot of excursions, mentioning the prices on future cruises, would be helpful. You spoke about them in Greenland and I thought it was a good idea. With the high costs of cruising, air flight from upstate NY, mandatory service charges, a night in a hotel, sometimes we forgo excursions for budgetary reasons. I prefer to use ship excursions for the safety factor, but some of the prices are just ridiculous. I have been enjoying your trip, stay safe.
We embark the Eclipse on the 16th for Iceland and Greenland. Your videos have been very helpful as always.
Tony,Tony, Tony!! What are we gonna do with you! Watch you step and please don't take us on anymore falls, my heart can't take it.
Oh Tony! I feel for you bud! I’ve got to be the clumsiest person ever, but at my age, it hurts a little more than it used to 😂 Glad you’re ok!
Thanks for sharing I tried 2 times to make it there.
wow, hope you're ok after that tumble.
