I've had CFS for 7 years now. 22 hours a day in bed. I started watching Toby's baseline videos two months ago and listening to everything I could from him online.
Let me tell you. This guy knows what he is talking about. I'm out of bed 8-10 hours a day and feeling at least %50 better.
Thank you Toby, thank you, thank you. 🙏🏼

Actually I'd add something to that. Many sufferers also have to deal with extremely difficult situations. In my case for example when I lost my job due to my illness I was able to get enough money for me and my family to survive from my pension. Many people are not that lucky. I can only begin to imagine what it must be like to be suffering from this and have no income. And I know of people who have partners who have become their carers. But many don't. They're left completely alone. These are horrific situations that my heart goes out to. My situation is nowhere near as difficult as many people's, but still extremely difficult. I've been learning that I came into this world alone and will leave it alone. If I can't sort this, who will? My heartfelt thanks to Toby and team who have saved my life. And to the friends for the Dave reason. There is a reason why I'm going through this. I don't understand why, but I'm learning about myself and becoming a better person in the process.

@@margaretwhittaker2291 we need to share our experiences. Although I say we're alone, paradoxically I've started talking to all kinds of people I meet when I'm out of the house, and they've also helped keep me alive: as they share their experiences with me I find a deep connection in minutes. I hope I help them too. A woman came to deliver a package which was for a neighbour. We stood on my doorstep and spoke for maybe half an hour. As she was leaving she was laughing as she said the company only allow them 90 seconds per delivery. 🤣🤣🤣

I don't have a 24 hour day 😭 I sleep 16-18 hours and when I finally open my eyes I'm not really awake 😢 I have absolutely 0 brain or physical energy, plus I live alone with no family or friends support. Now 6+ years totally bedridden, so how can I even begin to try and get better, just writing/ texting this is so exhausting and hard. My personal hygiene is no existence, can't remember the last time my hair was washed. Feel so beaten to say the least. Sorry for being so negative, but I'm not in a good head space as you can well imagine.

Try the lightning process mental techniques, or possibly moody stabilisers to stop the over reactive neurons firing off in the brain. Low GABA causes anxiety

I've been fighting this for 20 years from just exhaustion from caregiving to now just trying to keep my independence as a senior with badly damaged liver and adrenals. I had to strain to keep my job for the 10 last years of employment while dealing with increasing insomnia and fatigue but was lucky to have empathetic management but finally had to quit. Motivation is hard when exhaustion and insomnia have been a battle for so long. I thankfully now have a brilliant nutritionist and coach who does what the MDs cannot... (no the 15 minutes is absolutely useless, even with an Integrative doc) For motivation I look to my beloved cats who absolutely depend on me and my art studio which is waiting for me to get in a bit more recovery 🙂. Thanks for reminding me of what lies ahead...creativity..and life.

I liked the idea of hitting the singles every day. And the idea of letting go; not holding in tight to your recovery. Recently I struggled when a health professional recommended that I stick to my baseline for another six weeks. It felt like an extension of a sentence! But I had to recognise that this was unreasonable: if I want to get better for good, of course I want to do whatever it takes to feel good over the next six weeks. X

Ok. Lets say i ve been doing all the inside things: nutrition, protein snacks, eating every 3 hours, mindfullness, pacing, baseline, enjoying the moment, accepatation, nervous system calming, brain retraining, neuro somatic work ( all inside work). With some results but nothing crazy, I always seem to hit back the same baseline -ish with some improvement like: way less anxiety, sleeping better at night. But still having crazy sleepiness during the day , brain fog, easy pem, but I can walk a bit more.
I got what you say about outside things. Im doing tons of inside things but outside too
Bought a pulsed emf machine and my energy is better but not miraculous.
I recover way faster tho after a “movement”
My friend w cfs found her life back even more than me she didnt have any PEM in months! Im like why is it working for some peeps and other no?

What we are experiencing can be the accumulation of generational craps that weren’t healed, so we can’t compare and don’t compare. This will only drain even more energy. I’ve been working on it like you do, so I know how much work it is. You’re doing great! Please be patient and gentle with yourself. We’ll heal!!! Sending love to you❤️❤️❤️

I'm 66 and have vertebrae in my neck and lower back that disintegrating after having been run over/hurled 30yards some 30 years ago. My life is a constant juggle allotting my energy and physical movement ability to tasks. I am retired, so no return to work as such. I am on a state pension so cannot afford your course. Why are you selling it? Surely, morally it would be something to give away. Anyway, I cannot enrol on your course. I don't sleep well since my wife died 6 years ago and live a very simple minimal life. Most of the time I am lying down to ease my spinal agony and or resting. Any physical exertion and my body overheats and I am completely exhausted. What the fuck do I do?

I'm sure this guy knows what he's doing, and has some really good advice. He speaks clearly and has a kind voice, and in this video definitely makes some arguments for helping yourself, rather than looking for something external.
But this is a classic example of a video where they spin out an 'intro' style paragraph into 30 minutes with some very broad ideas translated into 'podcast speak', full of anecdotes and meaningful soundbites, but absolutely no content, lots of repetition, purely with the aim of getting you to sign up to pay for a programme. I've got so used to seeing these now for Long Covid and it's just another version. You see it for weight-loss programmes too. Possibly some good advice within but don't be fooled - it's also another money-spinner.
"Monthly payment plan of $500 AUD for a minimum of 6 months."

There is a simple treatment for Long Covid and I tried it and it worked for me. The ArtemiC Rescue and Support combo treatment for Longcovid worked for me, my Longcovid fatigue is gone. It takes 32 days normally, but mine was gone after 9 days. There are a few vids on YT about it and the official site is found easily by searching ArtemiC Rescue
