He claims the minorities in his country are treated very well - which is clearly UNTRUE! The minorities, non-Bumiputras or non-Muslims are treated as second class citizens despite being full citizens & being in the country for many generations. The indigenous Bumiputras make sure they wield all the power in the country, they have all the privileges like guaranteed jobs in the Civil Service, cheap housing loans, free education [even abroad] for their children etc which are NOT given to the minorities like the Indians or the Chinses communities. All the development that you see in present day Malaysia, much of the credit for that goes to Mr.Mahatir.
