Every Sunday morning, my grandmother would watch Pastor Charles since she didn't have a way to get to church. God rest her soul, I miss her very much, and I'm sure she would be thrilled to know that he is still preaching the TRUTH of God's word!
My mother did the same. She watched Brother Stanley that's what she called him every chance she got. I recorded some of his sermons on VHS tapes for her. She was not able to go to church but she faithfully watched Charles Stanley. Before she passed I believe she made her peace with God. Thank you Brother Stanley for the messages you give us. I listen to him during my commute to and from work daily. I have a playlist with his sermons. I can go nonstop for hours. It is so conforting.
Dr. Stanley is anointed in the Holy Spirit. Dr. Stanley states every sermon in Biblical Scripture. No sugar coating. OBEY GOD and leave the consequences to GOD. Help me, HOLY SPIRIT, help me to obey.
Dr. Charles Stanley it's one of the few preachers today that preaches on eschatology. We certainly don't want to be apart from Our Father or from our Lord Christ Jesus or from the Holy Spirit., but we certainly need to listen about what our Father's WILL is and then follow it with certainty and Love. It's very important to know our Father's WILL because just because we say Lord, Lord, doesn't mean that we will see or live in the Kingdom of Father God and Jesus says this in Matthew 7:12. Amen! Even as a babe in Christ I can see where most whom call themselves Christians only use what is beneficial to their lives, and why most people are quick to run from Christianity. I refer to myself as a follower of Christ, as I'm too new & unsure of the actual words Christian/Christianity. Jesus said "Follow ME" not "follow religion, follow man's rules and interpretations". The Holy Spirit has revealed so much and I am just beginning my life/walk of faith with the Lord but I can see where I was deceived with the teachings in churches even 20 years ago. I am so glad He has opened my eyes. I still have questions on how so many can claim to know the Lord and not follow His commands?! Why is church on Sunday, when the RCC changed the rules on the day of worship? And the Pope changing the Lord's Prayer earlier this year - no matter how minute some think it is JESUS said exactly what He meant and meant exactly what HE SAID ...the pope is utterly blasphemous right in front of our faces and yet many think he is a man of God?!? My jaw drops at this. He wants to baptize aliens?!? (Fallen angels to my understanding but I am waiting on confirmation by the Holy Spirit). There are too many who have so many different beliefs about ONE book. Christianity alone has 34K different sects because each think that they are right. Don’t we all struggle? Oh how easy to justify a sin. Something I observed lately are widows and widowers living together. They aren’t married, just living together. She’s 77 and he’s 79 for example. Folks will justify it and even may call it cute. In the eyes of God it ain’t cute. They are shacked up living together doing what married folks do. I get the economics of it. Then one person dies and the obit reads “survived by life partner or significant other .” Where did that soul go? Fornicators go where? Folks; sin is sin no matter how old we are. If we all loved one another and treated each other the way Jesus expects us to, bro the world would be perfect. I'm sorry someone has made you upset and made you angry towards a person simply because they call themself a Christian and proclaim that they follow a code of love in life that chooses to put others first rather than themselves. That's why I decided to write you back in honest truth and honest humility in a way that I hope gives you a perspective better than the one your anger has given you. Why do you want to be angry in this amazing thing we know as life? Isn't life worth more than hatred, and anger towards people who haven't done a thing to harm you whatsoever? Don’t we all struggle? Oh how easy to justify a sin. Something I observed lately are widows and widowers living together. They aren’t married, just living together. She’s 77 and he’s 79 for example. Folks will justify it and even may call it cute. In the eyes of God it ain’t cute. They are shacked up living together doing what married folks do. I get the economics of it. Then one person dies and the obit reads “survived by life partner or significant other .” Where did that soul go? Fornicators go where? Folks; sin is sin no matter how old we are. As Charles would say “amen?”
