I am 77. I fell on a Sunday night 8/11/24), 5 days before my scheduled surgery to remove a tumor caused by recurrent melanoma. The surgery was cancelled as the fall caused multiple pelvis fractures. Orthopedist predicted full recovery is one year. Never knew pain like this existed...after 3 weeks it is easing some. There are days, like yesterday, when my physical theraphy exercises are too much..when seeing the tumor on my body is more than I can withstand or understand. Days when a wheelchair and walker seem like my future. Days when I feel God has abandonded me. Why did He not keep me from falling? Why, why, why??? I listen to Dr. Stanley's sermons throughout each day and everynight as I fall asleep. I have been encouraged by his messages and teaching since the 1990's. So blessed to find this message this morning at a time I feel truly overwhelmed with a hopelessness I have never known. I have difficulty finding comfort in scripture and prayer. This message came right when I needed it. When the desire to give up is stronger than my desire to keep trying. I will not succeed in recovery if I stop trying. I have to put forth effort and action to my faith...to rely on God's strength as mine is weak and failing. So grateful for this precious message from Dr. Stanley...for his wisdom and love of God's word. Giving up on my circumstances is giving up on God. As a Christian I can never do that...I must run my race to the finish...even if that run becomes a crawl. The enemy wants us to quit, God wants us to finish. We must push through our trials being steadfast and unmoveable, asking God for courage, in the glorious name of Jesus. I pray for courage, strength and joy for all of us who are faced with difficuties. May we understand God knows our individual situations, has a plan perfected for each of us and His goodness will always prevail. Hang on to Hope...the Lord is our strength and our song. Psalm 118❤

I have been in a marriage for 31 years that i want to walk away from. My husband is an addict and has put me through hell. But God just whispers " be still and know that I Am God. Tha flesh is weak but the Spirit is strong. Not sure whst our Lord has planned but i have walked in obedience refined in this very hot fire. My husband hasnt changed but i have. Need lots of prayer. Father, please strengthen Jill in her walk of faith. Hold her up and help her stand firm in the face of Satan's attacks on her family. Thwart the enemy's plan to break up another family. Open her husband's eyes to the turmoil his addiction is creating. Give him the courage to face whatever causing his inner turmoil. Uproot his addiction and keep it from breaking this family apart. Empower us and strengthen us to continue walking in Your will. Fill our inner most parts with joy despite our circumstances. Turn our darkness into light and our good. Strengthen us to not give up that we may see how the power of Your Holy Spirit in bring us to breakthrough and victory. Not one of my siblings, or their children or children's children came to be with me as I was just going through watching my dear sweet momma slowly slip away into eternity to see her Jesus face to face. I can understand the ones that were ill and standing by a spouse that is ill. I have decided that it is their loss and they will need to live with their decision. I am blessed to be the one chosen to hold my sweet momma's hand as she left her failing earthly body and her soul went to meet Jesus and see my daddy again. She passed on her birthday. 10/9/1925 - 10/9/2024 I am looking forward to being with you in heavenly places momma ❤ until then I love you bunches and miss you a whole lot more.
I lost my first born last year. That was my worst day and I struggle daily BUT my Father has and always will have me. He has carried me through this entire time. My other kids and family have also helped. I thank the Lord daily for His love.
I am so sorry. Next month will be 10 years since my oldest son passed away. The Lord has been by my side and helped me through the darkest moments. He loves us SO much and knowing that keeps me going.
I left the catholic church. Because a priest wanted to have an affair with me. I started watching Charles Stanley and knew I made the right choice to leave the catholic church. Amen
I don’t know if Charles Stanley believed in election but he was sure chosen by our Father; his insight to scripture is very deep. His teaching on anxiety (my PTSD) has pointed me to the Lord to heal me. And our Father was faithful & true. His teaching on not giving up & suffering has gotten me through by pausing and encouraging myself in the Lord. Once again our Father was faithful & true. William as an aside to what you said about anxiety. If your still having trouble look up and read the book Hope And Help For Your Nerves by Dr. Claire Weeks! It sounds goofy and simple but that book is incredible teaching on the how's and whys of how your nervous system works and how to properly tame it. It takes bravery to follow thru with it bit man is it something when you do. Check it out!

They mean the struggle here in our "earthly" bodies is over. Our soul is at rest with Jesus Christ our Savior. We are ALWAYS alive in Christ but at peace FINALLY when we are with him. The struggle will be over.
I am 35 years old I am really having a hard time. I want to quit my teaching job. Plus I am doing the best I can to get into Nursing school as well. It has been very challenging for me. Especially going through life without my grandma. It has been hard. Many days I want to throw in the towel. I just want to quit my job. God just give me the strength to endure this. I’m not getting paid enough to deal with the disrespect coming from the students or the parents yep. God why is my life so hard. Give me the strength to keep going on. Because I have been applying to other jobs nothing. 🙏🏾 God please help me. I really need you.
Everything you need to endure this trial is within you, God sees your struggle and is fortifying you. You are so strong to handle all those challenges and difficulties and continue each day, you can do this. You didn’t come this far to only come this far❤️ “So hold on a little longer, and when you find yourself discovering true strength because of your weakness, and when you do great things in my name in spite of this..the impact will last for generations.”
A great many are leaving nursing too. Its not like it used to be, it's full of corruption and especially hard for Christians. Look at Dr. John Campbell's channel, read the comments for awhile. Drs & nurses talk about quitting all the time bc it's so bad. Pray about what God wants for you? Might be in business, computers, or anything else. God bless.

I have had a very difficult week and I really needed to hear this message. Dr. Stanley was a very Godly man, he knew the Scriptures and his sermons offer so much comfort.
I praise God for Dr. Charles Stanley and how He has used this wonderful preacher to speak to me. Just recently God has opened a door for me to begin preaching to the women of our church. Thinking back. I realize God was preparing me for this ministry. Just recently, I firmly yet gently spoke to the women about transgenderism and the basic truth of male and female. I was disappointed when the organizing committee decided to speak with me, telling me in so many words that I shouldn’t have said what I said, even though it was Biblically solid and laid out logically and lovingly. Needless to say, I was shocked, dismayed and quite discouraged. I spoke with my pastor about it and he told me “welcome to ministry”. Not everyone will agree with the truth and that includes church people. This message of Dr. Stanley reaffirmed my resolve to “keep on keeping on” - which is exactly what I told my pastor that I would do. Praise God for In Touch Ministries. Thank you for sharing Dr. Stanley’s sermons. I’ve been blessed and encouraged.

A great many are leaving nursing too. Its not like it used to be, it's full of corruption and especially hard for Christians. Look at Dr. John Campbell's channel, read the comments for awhile. Drs & nurses talk about quitting all the time bc it's so bad. Pray about what God wants for you? Might be in business, computers, or anything else. God bless.
Consider staying in teaching, but transfer to a better community, or a younger grade level.

I just threw in the towel in tears yesterday, I was just at my wit's end. I guess I have to pick it up again.
I have had a very difficult week and I really needed to hear this message. Dr. Stanley was a very Godly man, he knew the Scriptures and his sermons offer so much comfort.
We must tell the truth to children and family members and other people and neighbors about God and Jesus Christ
I praise God for Dr. Charles Stanley and how He has used this wonderful preacher to speak to me.
Just recently God has opened a door for me to begin preaching to the women of our church. Thinking back. I realize God was preparing me for this ministry. Just recently, I firmly yet gently spoke to the women about transgenderism and the basic truth of male and female. I was disappointed when the organizing committee decided to speak with me, telling me in so many words that I shouldn’t have said what I said, even though it was Biblically solid and laid out logically and lovingly. Needless to say, I was shocked, dismayed and quite discouraged. I spoke with my pastor about it and he told me “welcome to ministry”. Not everyone will agree with the truth and that includes church people. This message of Dr. Stanley reaffirmed my resolve to “keep on keeping on” - which is exactly what I told my pastor that I would do.
Praise God for In Touch Ministries. Thank you for sharing Dr. Stanley’s sermons. I’ve been blessed and encouraged.
