If you can read Rev chapter 21, then go back one chapter and read about the millennium, the war that takes place after it and the Day of Judgment that follows.
_During the Millennium:_ He shall judge between the nations, And rebuke many people; They shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war anymore. Isa 2:3
_After the millennium:_ After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely. Eze 38:8
We return to earth to live out the millennium and the time after. This is why Jesus said when we hear things not to worry for the end is not yet.
The new world is about 2300 to 2500 years away. Learn about the 7000 year prophecy and you will see.
I feel the same way. I’d rather be home with Jesus and my family. The earth has turned into darkness. We are suppose to be the light but oh it’s so hard. 😢
As bad as things are now (and will continue to get worse), I am *praying* for Jesus to come for us soon🙏🙌

You Are Blessed, not lucky. God is not a by chance type of God. He blesses everything He has anointed. The word (luck) is not even in God’s vocabulary. "To be absent from the body is to be present with. The. Lord"!!!
The Bible does not say that it says "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.'" If you read it in its context in 2 corinthians 5 its talking about receiving a new body and being with God in heaven, however this does not happen right when you die, the resurrection happens at the last day when Christ returns.
His language has been understood by many to teach that the reward of the righteous is bestowed at the moment of death and that an immortal soul leaves the body to face an immediate reward or punishment.

Death is actually an "Awakening" into Eternity with the LORD. I have experienced this personally in 2 out of 3 Near-death experiences. Death in Christ is the equivalent of waking up from a dream that was your life on Earth.

I sometimes look at the sky and imagine Jesus riding on that white horse with heavens armies behind Him, oh that glorious day, come Lord Jesus, the one Ive been waiting to see my whole life. My only Hope, can't wait to see Jesus, I was wondering what would I do, fall to the ground or hug Him so tight, will every person get a chance to touch Jesus and look into His glorious eyes and say Jesus my Lord and my God I waited my whole for this moment!

Do we remember when Lord Christ told the people :! No sign will be given !!!. The people wanted Christ to let them see him preform a miracle! . Maybe they should have been following him all along to see what miracles he has done !. He told us :; only The Father in Heaven knows that day ; that hour !; that moment in time for Creation .Christ also told us : like the days of Noah; and Noah told them about the destruction but they thought nothing of Noah’s words !

[32]And the Lord hearkened to the voice of Noah, and the Lord remembered him.
[33]And a wind passed over the earth, and the waters were still and the ark rested.

I learned about Christ's return in my early 20s, I was born and raised a Catholic. I was not happy that they didn't inform us of truth so I quit it. I delved into all I could on it. Still do. I believed it would be in my lifetime. I am older now and still hoping. Now look at the signs in our faces.
Every Christian must be active and progress in knowing, reading the Word of God, be zealous for good deeds and increase in faith. The onus is on you so seek the truth. You cannot blame the Catholic church or any church.
I'm Catholic. They do teach the second coming. They teach to live in a state of grace because your last day could be today. That our focus shouldn't be when it will happen, but that our life could end on any day. The scriptures of his return are read in my Catholic church.
