50GB per month to be used for Cloud services only. This should be mainly for iPhone backup and backing up recent photos and videos. I personally move all my old photos and videos to external hard drive regularly. 👍🏼

first, go to iPhone settings > Photos and make sure 'Download and Keep storage' option is checked below 'iCloud Storage' If it is not, do it. Now, allow your iPhone to download all photos to iPhone. This takes time. Once you're sure, put the 'iCloud Photos' toggle OFF. Now go to Settings> Tap on your name > select iCloud > Manage Storage > Photos > and hit 'Disable & Delete' option. This will delete photos stored on iCloud and you'll still have photos on your iPhone. Now you can downgrade your iCloud storage. Why it will delete data from icloud on downgrading plan !!! Disappointed with apple I guess this is what make google photos much better...you can access all photos videos forever even after downgrading plans on google photos !

1. Yes, you can keep everything on iPhone after cancelling iCloud storage IF you have enough space to save all the data. 2. Yes, you can take iCloud backup and reset your iPhone. It will keep your data safe in iCloud. You should have a proper settings for icloud though.

Transfer photos to PC or external pen drive and see how much storage it frees up. You can check your storage in iPhone settings, General. If photos and videos are taking the space, you need to move them to PC 🙆🏻♂️

You'll have 30 days to download your photo library from iCloud. If you don't do so, it'll get deleted automatically. Also, you'll keep getting message that your iCloud is full. You won't be able to receive emails, store reminders, notes in iCloud etc. So, you have to manually delete data from iCloud before you downgrade. Normally photos and backups eat up a lot of space. There is separate tutorial on my channel regarding this. DO check that out, it'll help 😊

It'll cancel your iCloud storage and all iCloud related services will stop like iMessages, Reminders, Notes, Emails etc. It'll also delete the Photos and Videos in the cloud automatically 👍🏼

If you cancel, Photos and videos above 5GB would be deleted automatically after 30 days. Your iPhone will not receive emails, reminders, iMessages, notes etc. Basically you'll face issues related to iCloud services. Better you delete the data manually from iCloud and bring it below 5GB and then cancel 200GB plan 🤷🏻♂️
It’ll be back to 5GB free plan. So if you paid for 200GB plan and cancel it, it’ll be back to 5GB plan. And the data over and above 5GB will be deleted automatically.
Go to Settings> Photos and ensure 'Download & Keep Originals' option is selected. Keep your iPhone connected to power source and screen off. This will allow to download all photos and videos from iCloud to photos. It'll take time, may be over a week. You need to check manually if it has downloaded all videos and photos or not. Tap on any photo and check if you see downloading icon on bottom right corner. If you don't see that, it means photo is downloaded to your iPhone. I hope it helps. 👍🏼

firstly, you can not backup data from iCloud. You want to download it to your PC. If you don't do so, it'll be deleted from iCloud. Your 5 GB will be fulled and all services like notes app, reminders, emails, etc will stop working because there is no more empty iCloud space. If you purchase that plan again before expiry, it'll continue as it is. You won't lose any of your data. 😊

No, iCloud and iPhone space is treated separately. You can save everything on iPhone and turn off iCloud storage and syncing. No issues. But if you have data on iCloud over and above 5GB, it’ll create a problem

Yes Dennis, you'll lose data over 5 GB and keep getting message like 'your storage is full' and apps like Mail, Notes, Reminders will stop working. You'll need to delete data manually to start all these services back. 😊

Gmail can be your iCloud ID.

There is no way to backup specific photos to iCloud from iPhone. Whatever is in your Photos app, will be uploaded to iCloud. 🤷🏻♂️

Hai in my iCloud storage 115 gb used from my 200 gb plan . How to download photos and videos from iCloud to iPhone before downgrade?
Go to Settings> Photos and ensure 'Download & Keep Originals' option is selected.
Keep your iPhone connected to power source and screen off.
This will allow to download all photos and videos from iCloud to photos.
It'll take time, may be over a week.
You need to check manually if it has downloaded all videos and photos or not. Tap on any photo and check if you see downloading icon on bottom right corner. If you don't see that, it means photo is downloaded to your iPhone. I hope it helps. 👍🏼

firstly, you can not backup data from iCloud. You want to download it to your PC.
If you don't do so, it'll be deleted from iCloud.
Your 5 GB will be fulled and all services like notes app, reminders, emails, etc will stop working because there is no more empty iCloud space.
If you purchase that plan again before expiry, it'll continue as it is. You won't lose any of your data. 😊

Yes Dennis, you'll lose data over 5 GB and keep getting message like 'your storage is full' and apps like Mail, Notes, Reminders will stop working.

You can turn ON iCloud. After first backup, you get to choose which apps not to backup on iCloud. You have this option inside Manage Backup option in iPhone setting.
