I think the essence of it being served on a skewer is so you can eat it off the skewer otherwise it would remove it from the skewer and served like normal roast right?

You can eat skewers holding with both your hands. One hand at end as well as other hand at other end . You take smaller bites. You do not have to eat voraciously . Small petite bites and shew very well…🤔Think on it…
