Winnie you mentioned almost everything that I was told when I started working at my present place of work, I can’t deal with backbiting especially at work, i usually work away when I sensed any level of gossip I don’t want nobody to go to my superior and quote me on what I didn’t participate in . Exactly let issue be resolve by HR and they will consult the office policy to resolve the issues. In that aspect, I think hierarchy system is better of. In the sense that your head of your business unit is in better position to lay your complaints to and if it unresolvable, then HR can come in. I really don't think it is important to give notification while closing for the day, especially in the office where the supervisor does not like closing at the stipulated time, always taking team members extra time. I will like to get others comment on it
